FE4 and FE5 deserve a remake combined into one new Fire Emblem game. The cover gets a 10 out of 10.

Kind of like FE Fates: Revelations coming out months later after Birthright and Conquest.
You might be able to package them together but they wouldnt fit as one game. Fe4 retcons some stuff and reinterprets events in fe4. Plus they play kind of differently. So I wouldnt want them to be one game but sure, package them together as the "judgral saga" or what have you
they're two entirely different games mechanically - combining them into one would do both a massive disservice.
Probably not the best idea... FE5 is such a different game compared to 4, you literally have to throw most of your knowledge out the window and learn quick, or you could end up softlocked or with terrible characters. It's pretty easy to softlock yourself in Thracia anyway. Still, one of the most egregious retcons in FE5 and 4 is, in 4, Leif's army raids Alster and is annihilated, leaving just him, Nanna, and Finn as the remnants of his force and nothing is said about Eyvel, Raydrick, Veld, or anyone of significance really, all we know is that Leif ultimately lost his entire force. FE5, however, shows Leif returning to Manster and winning with Seliph's assistance, which, while accurate, doesn't take into account that, prior to Seliph even arriving, his *entire force got annihilated*
Sure, both games function as a single story with some changes and a defined linear narrative, but as it stands, remaking the games together in 1 just causes problems, plus, I don't want to get stuck playing most of Thracia before I get to play Chapter 7 of FE4

He had an idiot for a king and he was loyal to a fault. In the end he decided to die trying to convince said idiot king to end the war rather than die fighting his closest friend.

I put it off all the time and after I played it I kinda regret that I haven't played it until recently.
Gameplaywise it's quite different from the other games of the series, but once you are used to it it is somehow refreshing.

How strong was your Ayra? She is crazy powerful in 1st gen and her kids along with Holsety Ced usually wreck 2nd gen
