Hello, I have the pavo pico but want to bind it to my Radiomaster pocket not the DJI controller. Do you have a video on that? Running into some problems, the ELRS receiver is connected to both devices (drone & RM controller) but in betaflight is not connected in receiver.
How did you go about throttle settings? Mine has two settings. Nothing and To-the-Moon. Haven’t had a chance to fine tune yet

What’s the flight time for the pico Pavo 🦃
You mentioned once about your crosshairs from your drone not lining up in your dji goggles and said you would fix that later. How does one do that? My Pavo Pico won’t turn left in angle but my cross hairs are way off to the right in my goggles. Assuming that is why. Any ideas ?
Make sure HD OSD is selected in Betaflight.

Can it be used with the DJI V2 goggles instead of the 03’s? Seen a MrSteele video about a latency issue with the 03 goggles but less latency with the V2’s. And this was with using the O3 camera system but through the V2 goggles.
Possible to find out if that works? Might be interested with getting the drone.
O3 is the air unit, and it is compatible with both the goggles 2 (the newer one) and goggles V2 (the older one). The naming of it is so confusing.
Sadly the mr Steele Videos is very misleading.. He had it in low power mode and there was a bug with the refresh rate not returning to normal after take off, it is fixed now! The only difference is 120 hz on the v2 and 100 on the newer goggles 2. I would recommend booting up your favorite sim and limiting the fps to 120 and then to 100 and see if you can tell the difference (I can’t).
But yea it’s compatible with both :)

As the comment above mentioned, you're thinking of the goggles2 in Mr Steels video and they are very smooth. When the quad is not armed it's in low power mode and cuts the frame rate
So I'm new to flying. I have the dji avata. Would this drone be like it or are they manual only. I'm wondering since it has dji 03 if it would operate the same??
Yes and no. It has stability like the Avata but no position hold or Gps Rth.
@dronecamps could you do a video explaining that or is that common knowledge for most ppl? Like could I let go of the sticks and it hover?
@@southmountainoutdoors4628 I think it's pretty common knowledge. If you let go of the sticks out will not hover, it will just drop out of the air. I've read that the next version of betaflight (that's the flight configuration software most FPV drones use) will have altitude hold and position hold options, so that a drone will just hover if you let go of the sticks and not drift around either, but I have no idea when that is expected to be released.
Other than the Avata, there are only 3 or 4 lines of FPV drones that have customized flight control software with altitude hold and position hold modes, but I don't think any of them have the option to come with the DJI O3 Air unit for their camera system.
@@dronecampsI thought the latest version of beta flight had an auto return to home feature for drones that have gps modules. So couldn't you just hook up a small gps to this guy and have auto-land/auto-rth?

Wind will do that with most quads. ESP little ones

cinelog20 is much better sure) and almost 2 times more expensive
Always concerned about the durability of such quad…I had a mobula7 and I gave it away as the frame/ducts were always smashed. Considering the expensive payload is carrying I won’t feel comfortable flying it
I've personally crashed my pavo pico into a concrete pillar at full speed, dove a 400 foot tower and had it fall into a pond and its still good. the prop guards flex a lot and I run an ND filter to protect the 03.
It is pretty light, so you’re not gonna have a Lotta damage. But like Spartan said, make sure you run it in the filter over the lens to protect your 03 camera.
