I clicked on this video thinking it would be a good one to watch in the background knowing nothing about drones and just assumed the maker of the video was some million subscriber creator. I love my Pavo Pico with the O3! I bet somewhere in the dji headquarter is a pavo pico, i mean thats the most smartest way to use the O3 Air Unit!

Been looking into getting into drones and fpv is what’s been catching my attention lately. The maverick mini 3 would be great as I also wanna shoot some great quality video but I’ve been looking for something smaller that I can take anywhere with me and i won’t be filming a lot for footage just yet so I felt that extra bucks would be wasted right now for me to buy one of those. So I been searching for a tiny durable fun drone just to dip my toes into the hobby first. Searched CZcams and ran across your account and this video. I gotta say your video quality and planning is great! I was shocked that you only had around 5k subs. But this video was so informative and helpful that I might just pick one of these up later. I was thinking of trying out a Cetus X kit first so I can just get right into it. Do the Pavo pico come in a RTF package? Was also debating on getting the DJI avata but the price tag is pretty high for me right now, and as it’s a larger drone I would need to get the drone license to fly that which I’m not ready for just yet since I’m not sure if I’ll enjoy the hobby as much to make it worth it for me as of right now. Anyway keep up the great work on your videos. You gained a new subscriber here 👍🏻.
Edit: just seen that the pico doesn’t come rtf. It would need the O3 air unit to be bought separately. I’ll look more into it later. I think I’ll go with the Cetus X kit for the time being and fiddle around with it until I get used to it and see if I enjoy the hobby as much before jumping in 😁
I have dji controller 2. I’m looking to purchase the goggles that you’re using on your video. So what option do I choose when purchasing Pavo pico. I just want to make sure I choose the right option so I can use the equipment with it.

I think Albert Kim is building the SMALLEST cinematic drone with a naked O3 at 57g.
Nope. That is Dax Neal. The originator of the design at 45g. Mobigital O3 been out since 2022.
@ulinesfpv nice! The naked O3 is 20g so any smaller is going to be hard to beat at 45g.
I use throttle expo for indoor shots and its way easier to control it that way. Makes you much more accurate with your throttle in tight spaces. Otherwise great video!

good try with indoor cinewoop flight mate, I am building my own cinewoop now, and the most challenge thing for indoor shots is the throttle, I will need to to setup a new model and change the rates a lot to be able to control the throttle, and make sure I don't have those bumpy movements on the footage. Keep it up amazing video man!

Excellent review fellow kiwi! I found the same issue with prop guards breaking super easily with the dji fpv. My plan is to use that as a cinewhoop to save the $$ and hassle of buying a separate drone. Feel free to steal the fpv with prop guards as a cinewhoop idea if you like it

Fantastic to hear that! I’m not so sure of any of the defenders yet, haven’t tested them honestly. But the proprietary battery system looks to be similar to a DJI eco-system which may suit some and not others

I was shooting at 30fps, all manual settings in d-cinelike ✌️ And yep! I do use ND filters when needed🙂

No worries, the additional $450 is for the DJI O3 Air Unit as it doesn't come with the Pavo Pico body. Prices are in New Zealand Dollars too

New Zealand dollar are around 0.55 euro, so thats a lot vheaper than i was thinking

I really want to try and learn with FPV drone flying but its so intimidating. This products looks really promising but i dont know what VTX is or RX LOL, Does that price come with the camera or does it not ? I dont know what controller to use or what goggles to get. If I ever do get one I wanna learn on sims first but dont know which sims, Lots of videos on youtube but one video would contradict the other, Ended up getting a DJI mini 3 and I love it, but would still be open to learning FPV :(

Where did you get the blue frame from ?
The avata can fly inside and outside. Even in windy conditions. That tiny whoop will get blown around in 5mph winds. I love my tiny whoops, but flying them outside can get difficult. I live in ohio. It gets too cold to be flying outside. Tiny whoop season. Now it's getting warmer, and I can take my big quads outside and fly.

What backpack are you using?
I use a Peak Design backpack which isn’t specifically made for FPV, however perfect for me travelling with cameras ands drones.

It comes down to how much you tighten to rubber mounts down, this is also the V1
1. Dont overtight screws of vtx frame
2. Oring on camera is a good option
3. Dont let the cable touch the main frame
I use those on mine, and dont have jello

I do believe it is compatible with the DJI Remote 2, however you will need to configure it to do that, there’s some forums online explaining ✌️

Very much so in par with most of the other tiny whoops I've seen at around 3-4 minutes, maybe even 5 minutes if taking it really chill. Battery size is 2s at 550mAh

It's a bit of a mix, the drone itself is a BNF (Kind of) but you do have to install the O3 camera module. I believe that there is a version you can buy that is pre-installed too
Give up more flight time isn't an option, as flight time with a normal O3 is already short ~2 - 2:30
I've personally been getting flights of 3-4 minutes

HV 450 2s batteries. Can sometimes squeeze 5 mins on a 550mah HV 2s if REALLY cruising

Hey, brodie. My family owns businesses in two countries and my father doesn't like staying in India since it stresses him out. We were planning to send him home for a holiday but he won't stop calling us at work. Could this be connected to via wifi so he can essentially have a virtual presence in the office and production area that isn't so dependant on us??
