Ingredients
1. Raw rice powder (roasted /unroasted) - 1 cup
2. Rice powder / semolina/ beaten rice flakes - 2 to 3 tbsp
3. Fresh white grated coconut - 1 to 1 ½ cup
4. Yeast - ¼ to ½ tsp
5. Sugar - to taste
6. Salt - to taste
7. Oil - 2 tsp
Preparation
1. Boil 2 to 3 tbsp of coarse rice powder or semolina in water, stirring continuously to get porridge like consistency, cool.
2. Mix together the rice power, yeast & cooked starch together & make a dough adding water, set aside to ferment (6 to 8 hours).
3. Grind the coconut nicely, add to the fermented dough along with sugar, salt & water, again set aside for 1 hour.
4. Apply a drop of oil to the hot appachatti, wipe, pour a ladleful of batter & swirl the batter as shown to get the lace around, close & cook only on side.
5. Remove when sides begin to detach.

നമസ്കാരം ടീച്ചറമ്മ ........ ഞാൻ പാലപ്പം കുറെ കാലമായി ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പക്ഷേ അതിന്റ compination പലപ്പോഴും കൃത്യമാകില്ല. അതിനാൽ ചിലപ്പോ ശരിയാകും. ചിലപ്പോ പാളും. ഇന്നലെ ഞാൻ ടീച്ചറമ്മയുടെ റസീപ്പി വൃത്തിയായി മനസ്സിലാക്കി ഇന്ന് ഉണ്ടാക്കി. വളരെ ലളിതം. ഒരു പ്രയാസവുമില്ല. മിനക്കെട്ട പണിയുമില്ല. ഞാൻ സാധാരണ വെളുത്ത അരികൊണ്ട് ചോറ് അരച്ചുചേർക്കും. ഇത്തവണയും അതു തന്നെ ചെയ്തു. നാളികേരം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതിന് ഒരു മണിക്കൂർ മുന്നേ ചേർത്തു. (ആദ്യമായിട്ട്) സൂപ്പർ. നന്നായി കുട്ടികൾക്ക്, ഭർത്താവിന് ഒക്കെ ഇഷ്ട്ടം. എന്റ അമ്മയിൽ നിന്ന് കുക്കിംഗ് പഠിക്കാൻ ഭാഗ്യമുണ്ടായില്ല. എന്റ പഠനം തീർന്നപ്പോഴേക്കും അമ്മ ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ട് പോയി. അന്ന് ഞാൻ വിവാഹിതയുമല്ല. അതിന്റ കുറവ് എന്റ കുക്കിങ്ങിലുമുണ്ട്. സന്തോഷം ടീച്ചറമ്മാ .......❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

That chatti is cast iron only. Get at all vessel merchant's. Mine is yeast from Dubai. But Indian version is also good.
