I 100% agree. Being American I grew up playing our traditional baseball, football, basketball, and lacrosse... Then I started playing hurling 4 years ago and it's absolutely the most incredible sport I've ever played. Wish I would've known about decades earlier. Looking forward to introducing my 2 year old daughter to camogie so she can get an early start at it 🇮🇪

Ice hockey or field hockey? If you mean field hockey well yeah I guess they are somewhat similar in the sense that they are both sports that involve hitting a ball with a stick. If you mean ice hockey well the same is true, but ice hockey actually evolved from hurling (and the related Scottish sport shinty) which was brought over there by Irish and Scottish immigrants.
