- In this godawful year thank god we finally have some hurling back! Was in the notion to make a new video in the build-up to the final this Sunday. Just a collection of some of my favourite scores this year synced to music. Hope you enjoy.
All footage belongs to the GAA, RTÉ and TG4, song belongs to The Rolling Stones and whichever company owns it...this is just a hobby. - Sport
Fair play lad. I remember the GAA asking for recommendations on how to spread recognition of the game around thd world. I wrote a big impassioned email about making some high production compilations of our sports on CZcams. Some videos that you can point someone who never heard them too. They did fuck all. Thanks for doing their job
This video upsets me greatly! I've spent over 36 years on this planet travel to multiple countries including Ireland and have never seen Hurling! This moment right now feels like when I found Aussie rules footy... An amazing sport with amazing athletes doing freakish things and combining multiple sports that everybody loves. I see cricket rugby footy crochet soccer baseball lacrosse hockey field hockey and American style football all mixed up and this is the product!!! Excuse me but I have a rabbit hole to go down see y'all later!
A really great video with masterful video editing!!! The Rolling Stones song seems a perfect fit for this!!
The build up play to Hannons point 👏👏👏
I moved from cork to America 4 years ago and they don’t stream it here so i watch videos like this to keep me watching
Great video
Some careful and magnificent editing done there, Nice work!!!
Looks like a cross between soccer, baseball, hockey and possibly open warfare, but since it's older than most of those, it's probably a common ancestor.
*Love it.*
Great video serious editing
Holy crap this is great. Kinda makes me wish me great great grandparents stayed in Ireland
Savage video
Great vid from Australia
I hope this sport spreads so I can play it in Australia
There would be GAA clubs in australia, gaelic football would be more common though. Take a look and find one near you - www.australasiangaelicgames.com/our-clubs/
Brilliant video .
Your series of hurling vids are class, the production/editing is top quality. Any more recent years coming?
As always top notch. Thx from the states. Getting GAA withdrawals here. Need me some but thx for filling in the gaps for years now! Has it been 10? Anyway. Roll on whatever wherever. Sooner the better. Up The Cats!

For all you Irish Basketball fans. Who would be hurling's equivalent to Jason Williams aka White Chocolate? Cian Lynch & A. Gleeson come to mind. Probably more in the club scene. Just happened to be watching old clips of JW & made me wonder because I have always been amazed by the parallels of Shefflin/Cody & Brady/Belichick's careers. Think TJ is better but as for comparison it's unreal how the two player + coach pairs align. GAA ruined me for my "native" sports. Imagine being a diehard Tipp fan & you win an AI only to open the paper to see Noel & Shamie in the Black and Amber, John in Wexford & Joe Canning & Xxxxxx Xxxxx(name your player) playing for Tipp. It becomes almost impossible to be a fan of anything other than a name & logo. In over a decade I've watched about a 1/2 dozen pro sports matches while there are dozens of club, county Fitzgibbon* matches I've seen over and over. Whether junior camogie, Minor County, whatever, that continuity is quite special. And it's even more considering it often goes back generations.
*what is highest level in collegiate camogie? The equivalent of the Fitzgibbon Cup competition? Thx. 🤙🏽✌🏽
