.First one is the ball can not be touched on the ground with the hand or lifted with the hand
.The second is you can only handle the ball twice in the one possession
Thirdly you can run with ball in hand for more than 4 steps after that you can either pass it or carry the ball on the stick all the way.
You can hand pass providing its not the third handling of the ball and its slapped not thrown with the hand
the taking of frees which the ball is placed on the ground then lifted with the stick and thrown upwards with out the hands and struck with the hurley
.They last rule is no offside except the goal square. There are many more but these are the key ones

The All-Ireland Final will be between the winner of Sunday's (replay) match, and Limerick.
Find an Irish bar near you (with real Irish people, I mean), and they'll either be showing the matches themselves or will be able to give you information.

The stick is a Hurley (Camán) or Hurl for short (made from an ash tree), the ball is a Sliotar (the inside used to be made of horse hair & the outer skin calf leather, but now the Sliotar is has a cork centre and white tanned pig skin outer).
