This is truly the definition of underrated. A great story that didn’t get enough love as people thought it would be another flop like avengers
And some people getting hung up over them not being one-to-one likenesses of their MCU counterparts.

THIS GAME SLAPPED SO HARD. I loved every bit of it. It was such a good game, it was one of the few games that I was excited to go back and get 100% on.
I was just expecting a decent time when I played this, but it surprised me. It's genuinely one of the best games I've played in recent memory. The storytelling and dialogue, especially towards the end, were phenomenal.
Man this game rocked so hard, I am so proud to see you platinum it. I am probably going to go for it as well after I am done with Tears of the Kingdom

This game seriously was my game of the year back in 2021. The gameplay left me a little bit lacking, but the story. The characters. The last two hours of the game changed me as a human. Definitely in my top 10 all time favorite video game stories.
I remember seeing this game on preorder on the Best Buy website one week before release and tripping out that I hadn’t seen any advert for it. Bought it right away and told everyone I knew to play it. Such an underrated game with an amazing story

Oh god I already forgot how much I hated every other word being Flark in this game... however GOTG is underated as hell and its great to watch you go through it! RCU > MCU anyday.
In my opinion streaming this game takes away a great deal of it for me because of the lack of soundtrack. It literally feels like a James Gunn movie with the needle drops and the way you can listen to any song you want while on the ship is incredible. Such an incredible game. Wildly underrated.

20:39. actually, with certain enemies, you have to use a guardian's specific move to find out or force out their weakness. those big cultbots you fight that are a bullet sponge at first glance? combine groot and drax's moves, and you shred them apart. that's the neat thing about this game. it doesn't tell you what move you have to use. you as a leader have to determine what to do to defeat your enemies. what teammate to send, and what moves they do. drax can supplex certain enemies, if i recall, and if you use his downward slash, he hops onto big enemies to distract them. it's very satisfying finding who to use and what to use. depending on just starlord throwing random attacks won't really work because the enemies just seem to be bullet sponges at that point.
Love this game and glad you got the chance to play it. Writing is fantastic and made me appreciate the interpretation of the characters so much

I was one of the people who played the game near tk launch and absolutely loved this game, even on ps4, this is one of the most underrated games imo, and requires more attention.
I did the charge shot trophy in the Magus fight. The enemies that come at you are VERY easily staggerable, don't have much health and there's so many of them that it's obtainable without too much trouble
This game came out right when both my grandparents had passed, the Drax scene letting his family go... Got to me to brother

I actually platinumed this last weekend - extremely fun game that was actually evoked emotions. The platinum wasn’t too hard… but getting most of the collectibles in your first playthrough helps a LOT.

I just got this platinum too and yeah lore hoarder trophy was stressful. I knew I missed a few collectibles and was worried about doing a complete 3rd play through. Then it just randomly popped in the middle of a cut scene.
One of the best marvel games with best story and gameplay and narrative different planets to discover really underrated
I played that game recently. Lot of fun. The Team Huddle mechanic is so funny to me.
The reviews of this game to this day still really surprise me. I thought it was such a great game and have played through it twice

The 'Set 'em Up, Knock 'em Down' Trophy isn't too bad if you freeze the jelly cube enemies and then hit them with the charged shot, this can be done in chapter 3 as soon as you unlock the ice ability just reload checkpoint until you get the trophy.

The hoarder trophy was the only one I had left for my platinum. But I made a new game+ file which glitched out the game where none of the Guardian collectables I hadn't already found, wouldn't appear. I came to the realization after making a few new save files, that my game was officially busted for that trophy.
SO, what I had to do to get around that is login on the PS5 at my dad's house and play on his copy of the game. I got the trophy right after saving Drax.

For the charged shot trophy you can just electrocute any enemy then kill with a charge shot they don’t have to have a stagger bar
