I have a 2004 excursion and I'm going to put a 2015 dash on it. It has an original automatic light. I need the headlight assistant or not
So is their currently a plug in play for me to do a 2016 cluster and column in my 06? I'm amazed that this is even possible at all when I bought my most current truck I immediately thought of you guys being the 06 already has the 2016 door panels

What about the p reverse and drive so on when you put it in gear does it show on new cluster

How come my 99 don’t make that chime with the cluster helper and the 11-16 cluster
Because you have a 1999, the GEM module makes all the chimes, so they are not emitted from the cluster like the 2002 and newer trucks.
So you mentioned the VSM, I know the excursion was kinda a weird vehicle, as it had features of the newer superduties like a door key code, aswell as chip immobilizer... While the Superduty didn't get those for a few years.
So would a 2000 Excursion be equipped with the VMS required for the individual door-open sensing? Thanks!
The functionality regarding the VSM is identical between the super duty and excursions during those year models. If you have a VSM, it will show each door individually, if you do not have a VSM, you will have driver door and non-driver door and that is all. The vehicle immobilizer you mentioned, which is referred to as the PATS, is actually a separate module from the VSM.

@@Gendreau113 if your truck has keyless entry or auto headlights, it has a VSM.
@@SwapHelper Thank you for the quick replys, but I have one more question. Are you considering making a kit to upgrade a 2008-2010 superduty to a 2011-2016 style gauge cluster and such? And perhaps the other minor dash differences between the two body styles?

So is this a complete plug in play? Do you still need to rewire everything like all the other videos I see on dash swaps?
The Cluster Helper for the 2002 to 2007 Super duties and Excursions is plug and play.
I know I'm a little late on the commenting, but I have 3 questions. what about 3d printing that connector, will this be able to read and display my fuel economy data, miles to empty, temp, etc, and and will there be any sort of discount for buying the whole bundle? (And in case you need it to answer my question, I have a 02 f250 lariat 7.3)
While we can 3D print the connector, we obviously can't 3D print the pins. They are a non-standard size, and are not currently available. There is not enough volume here to justify a custom die. Yes, you will have some fuel economy data, but it's accuracy will be based on the original as built data of the cluster you use, so your mileage may vary, pun intended. Lastly, we price our products individually so customers can mix and match as needed.
