just watching the snippet nalini and devi making up was enough to make me cry a little, i forgot how emotional this show was
Ben had a crush on Devi for a long time but since he’s immature he bullied Devi and her friends instead. Paxton liked Devi for her kindness because most of his friends are shallow. Being bullied her whole life Ben surprised Devi with one act of kindness so Devi fell for Ben. Just like you guys I also didn’t like Ben for Devi because most of her insecurities come from his bullying and he doesn’t evolve as a person.
i think it's odd that you say Devi's feelings are superficial, because a lot of your comments on the characters are superficial
One of my favorite traits Davi has, even though it tends to get her in a lot of trouble, is that she has no filter and blurts out exactly what's on her mind.
Season 2 is amazing television trust me, watch it
This might be strange to you guys but the way Nalani behaves and parents is very common in some societies. It's great to see it handled in a way that shows how it affects children and also humanises the parent.
This show just keeps getting better by episode, the character development is great too! PLEAASEEEE DO SEASON 2 ASAP
