Pitch Perfect is a wild movie that is WAY funnier than we thought it would be. Imagine High School Musical but with Jew jokes... That was our expectation going into it. But we soon realized this movie is leagues better than HSM... Even tho there are still so so many Jew jokes. But we love it for them

I remember there is a video documenting their “bootcamp” and it was entertaining as f*ck! I’m pretty sure it was a part of ‘extra value’ you got if you bought the dvd, and then someone posted it to youtube. It’s like 30 minutes of Elizabeth Banks coaching them through their hardcore bootcamp, and them all getting more confident and bonding, and sometimes struggling
The funniest thing is that Jessica and Ashley were actually there the entire time and Cory didn't even notice them 😂

Fun fact: Beca is Anna Kendrik, the girls a lot of us now from the cup song. WHen she's singing alone, she's singing live with no autotune. And last one: The cup song came out after this movie so the people making the movie made the song.
The guy who plays Anna Kendrick's love interest is not Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother. His name is Skylar Astin and he was in Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. You guys should give that show a try!😁😄Also, all of the actors/actresses are doing their own singing.
FYI, Anna Kendrick started her career in musicals on Broadway...she was singing Sondheim as a preteen, so yeah she can sing 😅

Oh everyone on here is singing for real. They went to accapella bootcamp before filming and Anna Kendrick started on Broadway as a kid. They just record the singing audio ahead of time so doing multiple takes of filming doesn't screw up the audio or their voices, etc. I.E. What happened during the filming of the Les Miserables film 😂
