I actually met him when I was 17 and my best friend 17. He was so polite and yes handsome. This was back in 1981. He stopped to chit chat with his fans in the crosswalk. They were playing music 🎼 to cue him to cmon! He said to us fans “They will wait” 😊. He took a picture with a young fan who I thought resembled a young “Jessi”. We were bummed it wasn’t us lol. I still got that picture and a awesome 👏 up close picture of Waylon. ❤

Who also went by the name Vesta and I met her daughter. Best that was my neighbor in a small town in Missouri west of Springfield. So close our living room walls were back to back.
She told me a lot of stories about Waylon. Harry took everything from her including her name stage name. She was my friend she song to me.

Give me some Willie Nelson, George Jones, Hank Williams, Hank Williams Junior, definitely Waylon Jennings who is my number one favorite country artist, Johnny Cash, Johnny Paycheck, Alabama, Dolly Parton, the Judds, the list goes on and on.
