    The last track 28:12 maybe has some resemblance to the very recent song "Ghosts Again" of Depeche Mode (what a beautiful song), while rendering this video I heard it for the first time lol! I'm not saying it's the same, obviously, it's in a different key, I have a sketch of this uploaded about Aug 22, 2022: • DEMO 32527

    Info about YAMAHA TX81Z:
    Yet another FM synthesizer from Yamaha, this one comes in a compact, multitimbral, 1-unit rackmount module and is basically a key-less version of the DX-11. It has far more professional features than its relative, the FB-01. The TX81Z features great FM type synth sounds similar also to the DX-21 and DX-27. It's still not as good as the classic DX-7, but it's an inexpensive source of those sounds with lots of programmability. Eight voice polyphony, 128 preset sounds, 32 user and lots of functions hidden behind 11 push buttons.
    The TX81Z features a new ability to use waveforms other than just a sine wave. There are eight voices that can be split, layered and detuned. Also onboard are pseudo-effects including delay and reverb. These features can be stored as performance setups. The effects are simply envelope and re-triggering effects. The TX81Z works great as a sound-module for any live or studio production. It's got a wider range of sounds than the DX-7, may not be quite as warm or 'classic' sounding, but at its low price and with the excellent MIDI implementation it makes a great alternative or backup synth for percussive, punchy FM synth sounds. It's used by Fluke, Roni Size, Astral Projection, Squarepusher, Jimmy Edgar, Future Sound of London, and Josh Wink.

      @@trevor4835 It can be programmed from the Synthesizer itself, BUT it is not a very traditional way and it is not very easy / comfortable, I used a free software editor that allows you to edit everything in real time, I also used a few patches downloaded from the internet that I liked a lot, there are too many options to choose a Synthesizer, the best is to look for the one you like the most in terms of sound, the TG33 is very easy to program from itself and so so fun!

    This is Mono only, directly from the unit itself with the help of an external sequencer? No, in the second last track there was some stereo movement.
    That could have come from the inherent cool possibilities of the unit itself.
    In many ways this was more flexible than the follow up, like the SY77, which had strict conform to a midi channel, if set to multimode.
    A first MF, like the D110 was as well.

    • @NachoMartyMeyer
      @NachoMartyMeyer  Před 2 měsíci

      hi, this time I recorded in layers, the stereo sensation is because I recorded the same patch twice but one slightly out of tune and panned, although it would also be possible to have two almost identical patches at the same time in 'Performance' mode and create a chorus effect in theory
