Welcome to this very boring test (always the same sound) of the ELECTRIX Filter Queen Vintage Stereo Filter from 1999. It's Stereo, but I used the Matrix-1000 which has mono output :) It's great to combine with some reverb, beautiful harmonics appear, ideal for ambient I think. nacho80.bandcamp.com #analogfilter

Two oscillators, sounds analog, maybe hardware envelopes, some gritty digital wave forms. Gonna waste my one guess here... Korg Poly 61? Nice tracks btw; I always enjoy your work 💙

@DB-kh3li that would be great, but is not Yamaha 🙂
It reminds me of the Alpha Juno as well, but I don't know how you would get those detuned sounds out of it having only one independent OSC/Voice. But the envelope and especially the chorus sound very close, so I'm going with a wild guess: the JX-8 (or two of them in a JX-10). Great musicality in the tracks as always. Love it :)
i'm so glad you like it! thanks for the good vibes, good deduction, and yes, this synth has 2 oscillators, is not JX-8P/JX-10 or MKS-70 🙂

Makoto! Thank you very much for the good vibes. I have been a great admirer of Satoshi & Makoto since I discovered you (2010 maybe). It's a great honor for me to receive your words because I admire you deeply. What you guys do is fantastic, wonderful, and I know this is thanks to you. I am so happy, simply an enthusiast, not a professional. I grew up surrounded by Japanese composers in arcade halls. I am also a great admirer of Kazunaka Yamane and Yuzo Koshiro, as well as other composers of video games on MSX when I was 6 years old. A lot of incredible music. It’s all very crazy for me. Thank you, Makoto, for making this possible. The honor is immense, thank you ❤️

@@NachoMartyMeyer genial!!! Ahora los veo!💪🏻

This brings back some memories. Got some truly weird sounds out of this back in the day but sometimes it felt uncontrollable. Love seeing/hearing it again!
I share the feeling, it sounds incredible, sometimes very aggressive, sometimes subtle and warm, I will never let it go, I am not very satisfied with this demo, sometime I will try to show more sounds, especially with the "random" function (patch 100)
Cool man. Just got one didn’t turn on need sequencer. Next week. By far the best demo of mb 33. Inspiring!😎
Yeah it’s funky
i'm glad you like it! I think the sound is very well done, and I didn't use any effects so the true sound can be heard. I'm considering adding some distortion, perhaps with the ProCo RAT

Are those custom sounds created by you, or chosen from pre-existing banks/presets?

thank you for the good vibes Jack! i'm so glad to know that :)
Casio CZ line - probably the most “analog” sounding digital synth of 80s.
I agree, it's capable of seeming analog at times, it's a synthesis method with a very particular and exclusive sound from Casio, it may be related to FM synthesis but the audio is definitely different, the CZ line is wonderful ❤️
@@NachoMartyMeyer Imagine a CZ like the Volca FM or the Yamaha Reface, this is something I dream about
great news! glad to hear your music getting wider distribution. I will look forward to buying it on mp3. I hope this brings more recognition and synths your way in years to come Nacho. Keep the dream and the creativity alive, the fire is within you!
hey Mick thank you for the good vibes :) it's not a selection that I would have made but I am very happy anyway, I never thought that someone would be interested in that tracks, especially because of the different quality of the audios, but I am glad that others see something "useful" in it :)
Glad to hear it, I love your demos of vintage digital synths
i'm so glad to know that mate 🫂
I can dig it
Hi there! I was just looking for a demo of this gear, cos' I have been owning one for years but never took the time to use it. Anyway your demo sounds great and me make feel like exploring this machine. Did you make all the sounds with the Waldorf (even the beats?)
hi, yes, everything that sounds is made only with the Pulse, even the percussion, it's a beautiful synthesizer, with a great sound, one of my favorites, I am not very satisfied with what I did, I should make another one showing more sounds, you should play with it for a few hours and explore it a little, it sounds beautiful, an interesting fact is that patch number 100 is always a Random patch, very fun, sometimes incredible things appear, give it a chance, it can achieve a great variety of sounds , sometimes aggressive, sometimes sweet, I love it

Definitely my kind of music and also the kind of sounds I like. I'm going to start music again after a very looong hiatus and i am already excited about that :)
@hollandaisvolant9943 i'm glad to know that! this synth can do countless things, always with beautiful audio, it has 3 oscillators and deep editing, I hope you enjoy it a lot, another cool fact, this synthesizer can be used in polychain mode, using other Pulse to make it polyphonic, imagine 6 units to have 6 voices with 3 oscillators each, crazy 😵💫 👉 czcams.com/video/zDM83IvTUY8/video.htmlsi=3Y_Oir7nXjL8w8pg

Absolutely, a lot can be done!
czcams.com/video/33v89EnfH9Q/video.htmlsi=xaCyqp0V8aIJ9SZa
This is Mono only, directly from the unit itself with the help of an external sequencer? No, in the second last track there was some stereo movement. That could have come from the inherent cool possibilities of the unit itself. In many ways this was more flexible than the follow up, like the SY77, which had strict conform to a midi channel, if set to multimode. A first MF, like the D110 was as well.
hi, this time I recorded in layers, the stereo sensation is because I recorded the same patch twice but one slightly out of tune and panned, although it would also be possible to have two almost identical patches at the same time in 'Performance' mode and create a chorus effect in theory
What's the sound at 2:13 - 2:14 ?I'd like to find a clean sample of that.
it's a random sound, I haven't saved it but I can send you the wav of that part so you can sample it, but it's mixed with the rest
@@NachoMartyMeyer Thanks but that won't be necessary, I could pull it straight from the video. I appreciate the generous offer, though.
@@unknownfilmmaker777 yes, unfortunately I don't have that separate sound, it would be a pleasure to share
