If there is any animosity between the brothers, it’s not because Harry gave up being a royal. It was a shock at the time but not the kind of stuff for a feud between brothers who were previously close. It’s because of that infamous Oprah interview, which may have been a dig at one of them but no doubt hurt them all including Prince Philip (who was already ill) and the Queen herself. The hardest things to forgive are not those that were done to us, but those which were done to people we love.

In truth if HRH Diana Princess of Wales had lived this situation would not exist. Harry would never have been so distressed and left vulnerable to someone like Megan Merkle. William and Kate replaced the Queen hence their ‘order’ in the arrival and exit. All participants of royal lineage know their place in the order of things, including those not there. I saw sadness, displaying love for the Queen and mourning Prince Phillip nothing more than that. This is a family of fortitude and service and I salute that. The side stories of whatever Prince Harry is up to will fade away into irrelevance. God Save the Queen.

We Brits watched all four days of Jubilee broadcasts and I recorded all four days but your reporters seem to have watched a different broadcast that lost something in its detail as it journeyed across the pond. On our TV we didn’t see any banter regarding Harry and the other Royals. The only informal contact was as Harry and Megan emerged from St Paul’s Cathedral when his cousin, Zara Tindall, indicated to Harry that his car had arrived. You will recognise the excerpt I mean because it was unfortunate that the waiting crowd booed Megan and Harry as they approached the car.
In America, we had little coverage. Just some gushing congratulatory reports and very brief photos before they went on to something else. I doubt if most Americans are aware of the hate some of the Brits have for Megan and Harry. The only reason I do is that I am retired and probably have too much time on my hands checking You Tube.
It’s their pr company who work hard to cover what happened. They even tried to say that zara and mike attended the stupid birthday party while they both including peter were attending epsom derby in the same day.
It looks like the relationship between Prince William and his brother is irreparably damaged! You can't blame Prince William for not wanting anything to do with him after all he's said and done!

These are Diana's sons, so media will always be an issue. What makes anyone believe that their relationship would be played out at a public event like this? Where they sat was dictated by their roles as working or non working royals and probably to avoid just this type of speculation. BTW Similarly Beatrice or Eugenie were not very visible either. M&H were said to have been asked to avoid doing anything that will take the focus away form the purpose of the celebration, and they seem to be complying. The two couples have access to all of the technology we all do, and will likely attend private receptions and or family events in which they can communicate and to which there is no media access . We cannot conclude anything from these public events, and neither should we try.

By the way, Harry and Meghan had nothing but positive things to say about the queen. Charles had written a memoir before where he basically said the queen and prince Philip were bad parents. He directly attacked his parents yet no one cares.
