Took my new t1x out on the farm this week, worked flawlessly, in all weather. Got a bunny at 104m (range finder confirmed) with cci velocitor. Highly reccomended.
Do you have it in .22 or .17hmr?
I have a t3x and a t1x. One thing that annoyed me is that they went from a 13mm dovetail to a 11mm dovetail. Excellent rifles nonetheless. It just would have made so much sense to stick to the same mounting systems.
I love my Tikka T1xmtr . 22lr it was my first ever rifle and shoots very accurate. I was so impressed that I purchased a Tikka T3. 223 I absolutely love them both such great fun my only wish is I wish I had got into the sport years ago.
Got my T1X .17hmr today, and ordered a Boyds Hardwood stock for it.. Looking forward to customizing, and shooting this little rifle
The T1X is a really well designed rifle IMO.
I have had the 22lr 20inch version for two weeks and I am very happy with the rifle I put a cheap 3x9-40 Nikko sterling scope on it and it shoots great have had no issues with the mag, so far I have used cci mini mag 36gr and cci sub-sonic 40gr ammo the only thing I have done is adjust the trigger.
Nikko Sterling, Nikon is a totally different brand.
Yeah Nikko Sterling my bad. fixed it now@@davidsinclair6554
Quality !!
Got mine yesterday and put it in a grs bifrost stock. Even though it is advertised to have the exact same inlet, its false. It was a very tight fit and also had to file the stock where the bolt catch sits, since it is about 1.5cm more forward than the t3x. A very fiddly job to get the barreled action into the stock but once you get it in, boy is it worth it. Especially since got a t3x in a grs bifrost as well
i have the tx1 in 17hmr looking at the same stock will i have problems also? should i take to a gunsmith for the work
Would love a tutorial on fitting the Bunny Buster package!
Will pass this on to our content creator!
I don't know what to think. Should I sell my sako quad after so many years with the four barrels and burris sako quad scope and get the tikka?
Shot 0.10 today for a 3 shot group @50. CCI SV.
What's with the orange accessories? Why not stick with the stealth black.
Reckon im gonna get ine and put a t3 forest stock on it. Do it in stainless guys!
When will we see them in the usa
Mag reliable? Not the 22lr one..
can we get it one in stainless though.
No promises, but with Shot Show US and IWA coming up there's sure to be some cool new stuff being announced then.
@@BerettaAustralia1 awesome as! Can't wait
bigger mags?
Not likely to see bigger than 10 round coming from the factory mate.
When is the left hand version coming out
Hey Jeff - we haven't heard any rumours about a southpaw T1x, BUT with Shot Show US and IWA just around the corner stay tuned. There's sure to be some cool new stuff being announced then. What would you most like to see from Tikka other than a lefty version?
@@BerettaAustralia1 a standard picatinny rail
And still waiting for the lefty
Reckon it will fit a CTR stock?
Hi Hasnain, unfortunately not, the CTR stock has a wider mag well to accommodate the 10-rd magazine.
Would I sell my sako quad synthetic with my four barrels and burris quad scope for a tikka?
Hmmm, sounds like you have a pretty good set up but your Sako might want a baby brother???
@@BerettaAustralia1 maybe not but i must say the price is sharp and looks much better than a CZ.
Three shots isn't a group.
No - it's a crowd!
Please start threading the barrels on t3x. Please you will sell more we want to shoot suppressors and muzzle breaks. Please listen
OO, a "hammer forged" action he say!
Must be those special hammer forging machines from planet LaLa Land.
My CZ452, will out shoot that rifle any day! and for half the price!
LOL yeah righto
I got mine for 500€, t1x that is
The 452 is a fine rifle.
Never at half the price. Actually 452's are pushing $450-$500 for a nice one. And outshoot? That's all ammo dependant. I have both, I know.
TheWheels1965 dont know, seems like the same price, shoot about the same , most utube videos say .
Isn't that sweet. You can change it clothes like a Barbie Doll.
I am disappointed in Tikka regarding this rifle. I think they released it premature. The first T1x I got, did not chamber ammo. The second T1x, chamber the ammo fine, but my god the bolt lift is heavy after trigger pull. Much more heavy then the first rifle I got. That is called inconsistency. Btw. it is also heavier than my 30-06 and the .223 both T3's . The magazine lock is not a confident system. And if you load a full magazine with the bolt closed, you have to force it in locked position. Speaking of the magazine. WHY TIKKA??? Why the butt ugly fin? What is it's purpose? The plastic used for the trigger guard is definitely of a cheaper kind, the my T3's. The tread protector is of the same very cheap plastic. I also think Tikka should ship these with the same recoil pad as it's bigger brothers. Lastly, the nearly frictionless bolt travel of my T3's are absent in the T1x. Even my CZ 452-2E is smoother in that compartment. Now, it better be accurate.
For all of you thinking I am hating on Tikka, I do not. I love Tikka rifles. And that is why I can not accept that they release an unfinished, inconsistent and "inferior" (relative to what they could/should) product.
Why didn't you handle the rifle before you bought it?....first thing I do..try the trigger cycle the bolt etc
are you drunk?
Over rated rifle.
