My sister has Erotomania and Paranoia. She did similar things as Martha, it could've gotten worse if she wouldn't have got professional help. She still does few things that are psychotic. It is frustrating and scary. When I watched this show, I could associate with the lead's thought process of constant horror of being with such person. It is horrible what happened to him and on top of that the constant stress of this person. He was already trying to cope with trauma and then she made his mental state worse. I completely sympathize with him and glad he shared his story. It needed to be shared.

These things are happening all the time, grooming but on a different level, it’s grooming the viewers to change their way of thinking. If they had put an Eye Phone Pro Max in Ripleys hand the critics and the viewers would have ripped the show apart, but they put a 2020’s non binary actor in the same 1950’s period drama and no one even mentioned it. I doubt very much that on top of Baby Reindeer having a stalker and being raped by a man that he also dated a trans person, and even less likely that the trans would be the only person he loved. It is so unlikely. It is all about pushing an agenda.
