I want 1000% believe that she left as many voicemails as he claimed. And the reason I believe this is because how was the actress able to mimic everything about This Woman's speech so accurately without ever haven't heard her voice? Everything from her tone, her accent, her mannerisms, and the way she mispronounces things was perfectly spot on. She would not have been able to reproduce it so perfectly without ever having heard it

He literally said he made this intentionally obscured so no one could identify her. His own explanation implies that Martha was a culmination of types of interactions he had, likely with multiple people. It was very clear when he put the show out.
First of all, the fact that people went and found her was completely disrespectful of Gadds own words and wishes he put on the show. He did not want this. Shame on everyone that went and found her. This is bad for everyone, including Gadd. This man was trying to speak his truth creatively and there's no telling who all Martha's character was actually referencing.
