Being a fan living in Canada I want to say that in my eyes you are an artist. I thought I knew how to refinish furniture...but your talent takes what you do to a whole other level. I look forward to more of your videos.
Absolutely LOVE this. Genius idea to put the wood over the drawers and to glue them all first and then cut. You turned an ugly duckling into a gorgeous beautiful swan. Well done my friend. I think this will sell rather quickly, not only because it’s a work of art but the colours are not bold or offensive or in your face and the lovely colours you’ve chosen will go with many peoples decor. Good luck 🤗
Wow! One of the best trash to treasures I’ve seen. I’m from Washington state so this gave me forest vibes. I loved it. Also the trucks I learned in this video 🤯
That is a very smart idea the way you covered all the drawers and then cut them apart! Also a cool trick for sanding the legs. A great save on a roadside piece of furniture.
Oh man. Start to finish thing is amazing. You truly took someone’s trash and turned it into treasure. I love the wood molding on the drawer fronts and the taper to the legs. Awesome work!
Magnificent effect with the walnut on the timber panelling on the drawers. Again that creative ability you were blessed with shone through in this small but beautiful makeover!
Such unique pieces that defy the design categories...that is your special talent...I seriously am flabbergasted by what you end up creating...I think you deserve the title Master of Thrifty Roadside Treasures!! Stunning...go, busyman!
A course in furniture with every video! The wood, color combo, style and the legs.. Wow! I can't wait to get to town and buy me some supplies!! Thank you so much ☺
Like the way you attached the wood strips and cut the drawer fronts in one go. The end result shows the matching wood grains through all drawers and brings out a very cohesive look.
what a clever way to cover those drawer fronts. Hardware is a great shape, glad you found a solution for the little holes. I like the green color with the natural wood. Nice job!!
Hello KaroI, I love watching you work, you make it look so easy. And you are so clean, tidy and organized, although I know it is very hard work. I also love your "flipped" pieces. Thank you for your videos. Can't have enough of them. But mostly, I love watching YOU! If you ever fancy a trip to France, let me know, I live in Normandy. J.
gluing the slats of wood to the drawers all together also enabled the grain to line up from one drawer to the next, so it was a good idea design-wise as well as in terms of efficiency .
Doing the draw fronts the way you did gives a more precise look than you would get y cutting them then gluing them - the grain in each strip down the cabinet is insistent and continuous. Well done.
Wow what an amazing trash to treasure .....Came out AMAZING....went from Everything Fake to ACTUALLY REAL wood. .and I LOVE How you Added the Wood trim across the drawers and Then Cut verses Cutting every tiny piece ...wow what an awesome idea. ..you're definitely Talented. well Done!
Love the colours you chose, what a beauty this piece is now. Especially like the way the wax lifted the colour of the wood slats at the end and made it so cohesive!
I liked what you did to the dresser. You totally transformed it. Especially your idea of attaching wood slats to the front of the drawers. Kudos to you for that.👏👏👌 I however think that a lighter stain on the drawers would have made it look more stunning!
"Work smarter, not harder" should be your motto. Cutting apart the drawers and using the drill to sand the legs was genius. Love the color.
Glad you liked it! Thank you.
Stunning. You have such a creative eye. Thank you for sharing 😊
Right? And that with sanding the legs, brilliant!
THAT was the takeaway from this road-kill project save!!! Brilliant!
And it’s STUNNING 🤩🤩🤩
@@dianadollar758 you’re very kind 🥰
It now has a exotic look. You saved it from the trash. 👍
By cutting the front of the drawers like you did, the pattern of the grain just flows. Nice.
Thanks 👍
Every video, you're teaching something new. The voice overs remain excellent. Very stylish. You're always thinking outside the box. Well done Sir
Thanks David🤗 this video is one of my first ones 😂 I keep it to remind me where I started 😂
Improvement is quite an understatement
The new look looks like zebra wood, which is very expensive!

Cutting the drawers in this way kept the grain uniform all throughout. Too cool!! Love consistency. And yes, glasses used b4 send😅
