Hufflepuff most gangsta, by his own standards. We all heard it.
Given that honeybadgers are evil little monsters i'd wager they can take on even a gryffin, nevermind a snake. honeybadgers eat snakes despite being vastly outclassed for breakfast, and walk off the copius doses of lethal venom like it was just breaking a sweat.

@@jiado6893 gryffindor is alpha, hufflepuff is sigma, ravenclaw is beta, slytherin is gamma
@@jiado6893 loyalty was also slightly a griffindor thing.
Let’s all take a second to remember that during the Battle for Hogwarts nearly all the Hufflepuffs chose to stay and fight while the Ravenclaws mostly fled and the Slytherins turn-coated. Yes the Gryffindors stayed to fight as well but they would have been outnumbered and overwhelmed by the time reinforcements arrived. Hufflepuffs stood side by side with their wizarding brethren and gave the Hogwarts defenders the numbers and a fighting chance to survive and WIN.
As someone who has taken the test multiple times and usual get ravenclaw and griffyndor, very rarely slytherin, I can agree with this assessment. I also think loyalty is very highly important, to those who haven't broken it. So i would fall under hufflepuffs too bt that standard.
The hat'd probably call me out as a divergent and send me to Azkaban

Hufflepuff's animal is a badger. Badgers are symbols of tenacity, cleverness, security, friendship, and gratitude. They're one of the few animals intelligent enough to use tools. They're also extremely ferocious animals when attacked, with African badgers commonly fighting off lions and the Honey Badger is well known for going directly for the groin in a fight. Hufflepuff embodies many of those traits, and has the smallest number of dark wizards in their history. Respect the Hufflepuffs.
Ah yes, badgers and their most known traits: friendship and gratitude.
@@krodmandoon3479 Believe it or not, in British folklore, those are traits assigned to them. It's kinda like with courage and lions, honestly: A lion isn't any braver than any other big cat species, but someone said "You know what? This big cat that surrounds itself with females and never hunts for its own food, making all of its females hunt for it? This is a symbol of courage now."
Honestly, you want to talk about brave animals: Guinea pigs. A two pound meat potato that will scream at a human a hundred times its own size if its lettuce is slightly wilted. That's bravery. Or a opossum, an animal that would fight God himself for a bread crust in your trashcan.

No
Yes, the houses always felt like a weak point in the series to me. To be fair, Hufflepuff at least had Cedric, so they'd have the best representative but their house is still a meme. I don't get the Hufflepuff hate. Loyalty and hard work are two of the most valuable traits you could possibly have. Without them, courage is meaningless, intelligence is wasted, and ambition is dangerous. Not to mention, badgers, particularly honey badgers, are metal as hell.
huff also stayed to defend hogwarts.
I think it's because they are generally the house that people get put in if they lack the standards/qualities/abilities that other houses seek. If you are loyal, courageous and hard-working then the first choice is Gryffindor. If you are intelligent and a high-achiever then you're likely Ravenclaw. Finally, if you value cunning, ambition and out-the-box thinking, then you are likely Slytherin.
Yes, having the average kid standing next to you makes you seem better by comparison, but I can't imagine it being nice for the low-achiever. Always being chosen last for any sports team or pub quiz surely begins to grate after a while.
The problem with Hogwarts houses is that they're all portrayed as goody two shoes unless maybe you go deep into the lore so Slytherin is the only faction that's appealing to most people who aren't hardcore harry potter fans or goody two shoes themselves. I got Gryffindor based on my honest answers but it just feels really lame.
Its because hufflepuff sounds wussy lmao
@@Ryotbh The whole "Hufflepuff took the rest." But to me, this always meant that Helga and the Hufflepuff house wasn't selective or ostracizing. I don’t understand how people get so surprised when they pick some of these traits. They all so obviously lean towards one house 😭
Not everyone is familiar with the books, and some of them didn't even watch all the movies therefore they don't know what the houses' peculiarity are. They just think Griffindor=heroes, Slytherin=cunning and villainous, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff=side characters.
They should have had choices in the introduction section of the game that would interpret your actions as relating to a certain house rather than asking you ONE question at the sorting ceremony 😂

Sorting Hat: "HUFFLEPUFF!"

"Surely, when they see my vast intellect they'll..."
"HUFFLEPUFF"
"God dammit!"
The writer herself even said that Griffyndor and Hufflepuff are VERY MUCH the SAME except whilst Hufflepuffs are more humble, Gryffindors seek the spotlight. She mentioned when designing the two factions; they are meant to be opposite sides of the same coin. Not meaning they are Opposites in nature but they are reflections of similar virtues. "Courage, bravery, resolve, daring, nerve, and gallantry are qualities associated with Gryffindor. Its members are typically seen as courageous. The characteristics of a Hufflepuff include fairness, patience, kindness, tolerance, modesty, and loyalty." These two factions virtues actually FEED into one another. Resolve =Patience, Gallantry = Kindness/Fairness, It also takes a LOT of Courage/Bravery to be; Patient, Tolerant, and Loyal! Lots of people find one or two questions based on motifs change them from Gryffindor to Hufflepuffs and back again. Often having to do with *Ego*. Lots of people "Act" like Hufflepuffs, but are Gryffindors at heart. And Vice versa.
Come now, she added those sentiments because people were dumping on Hufflepuff and she realised she had made a 'dud' house.
That's why I landed in Gryffindor? Lol fuck
@@Ryotbh Doesnt matter tho. If she says it is cannon. Ravenclaw nerds and Slytherin edgelords can eat grass
Ravenclaw and Slytherin are also two sides of the same coin. Ravenclaw focuses more on outright intellect, book smarts, words and Slytherin focuses more on personality, charm, determination, ambition.
Both are more cerebral. To be cunning or even conniving you actually think quite a lot.
I'd say that Ravenclaw is extroverted intellect and Slytherin is introverted, if you will. Which fits with extroverted courage/hardwork Gryffindor and Introverted Huffelpuff.
Each set are reflections of each other.
Interestingly, who knows if it's intentional, but I've noted that a lot of combinations in books and movies, it's usually a Gryffindor interacting/being friends with a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin getting along with a Hufflepuff.
@@vixxcelacea2778 Ravenclaw definitely strikes me as more introverted and Slytherin more extroverted... if you're charming and ambitious, chances are you are an extrovert.
That reaction confirms the sorting hat is correct
i love how the music have same energy as his brows
The sorting hat bases it off traits you value not necessarily traits you have.
It’s why a Hufflepuff can be ambitious or a Slytherin loyal.
It bases it off both, right? I guess whichever is more powerful is where you'll end up. Like Wormtail ended up in Gryffindor despite the fact he's a coward, just because he valued boldness and bravery so much. But you could also value Hufflepuff's traits like loyalty and hard work ethic so much, but actually have more traits in Ravenclaw like intellect and wit, and the hat then makes you a Ravenclaw. At least that's my understanding of it anyway
@@saint1944 My guess is it bases it off of traits you aspire to be yourself. Regardless if you currently embody those traits or not, if you desperately wish to be more brave/daring like Wormtail did, you're likely to end up in Gryffindor above all others.
@@saint1944 From my understanding if there is no strong preference then it will sort you based on the traits you posses but if you posses or value the key traits of each house it will side in favour of that.
The reason it chooses based off what you value 1. so you are housed amongst like minded individuals who strive for those same values. Remember when you are sorted it’s for life and that house becomes your family for your duration at the school 2. to bring out the traits you find important and wish for yourself to have.
Those who demonstrate courage and value courage can inspire that within a coward.
I think the reason it’s mostly on both though is because when you think about it commonly you value traits that you posses and the reason you posses them is likely because you value it, even if you say value other things too.
@@Sephiroso. Aspiration seems more important, I mean if Hermione didn't end up in Ravenclaw then....
@@mattc3581 It literally goes back to what i said. It's based off of traits you aspire to be yourself. Hermione didn't aspire to be smart because she already was. Hermione wanted friends but she was shy and really bad at talking with people which is why she was always made fun of in school.
She desired to be more brave to make new friends more than anything else, thus she landed in Gryffindor.

HuffPuff surely is the best house by far. And their main teacher is a master in weedology, the common room is probably one giant hotbox.
I really dislike the idea of Hufflepuff being the "last house" - as if when you're not brave, not smart and not ambitious, you go to the yellow dormitory. I think people give Hufflepuffs way too bad of a rap. That’s not just coming from a place of resentment even though I am one either. I get that all the other houses seem to have their core “strength” to being in their house like bravery, intelligence, or ambition, but I really do think that loyalty is an important trait to have. It means you’d live and die by someone’s side and be with them through thick and thin because you value them deeply. It also means that you’d defend those people that you care about like crazy because of how close you stay to them. A lot of the traits associated to a Hufflepuff are also pretty chill, relaxing, and wholesome, so all in all I think it’s pretty cool to be a hufflepuff! I’m proud of it at least! 💛🖤💛
And also Gryffindor and Slytherin are the two main houses, you almost never see anybody from the other two houses. At least, not that I remember. So because they are all background characters, they are seen as inherently less than the other two. On top of that Gryffindor and Slytherin are the token good and bad, so people who see themselves as good will obviously want Gryffindor, and edgy people will want Slytherin.

I like how Hufflepuff is considered the worse despite the fact that they're generally the nicest most respectful of the four houses.
Nice guys finish last
no one like goody-two-shoes
We dont consider the people in it bad, the house itself is just boring.
@@mikaell.chuaungo3637 no goody two shoes cares
If anything, this just shows Asmon's pretty friendly & chill
Never seen his zack streams huh? Guy's bitter and resentful and a narcissistic know-it-all when out of his persona
He was literally speechless. 😂😂
What I’ve never really understood is why people have such a problem with Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. Each of the four houses represent a unique intent in the person. Being loyal and patient and having a hard work ethic doesn’t immediately make you a good person. Loyal, patient and hard-working people can also be bad people. What matters is what intent is placed behind those traits. Slytherin is associated with misfits and potential troublemakers and villainy because of characters like Voldemort, but he was not a bad person because he was in Slytherin. People in Slytherin believe in overwhelming power, and that having more power in the world is good if you can control it. But even the creator of Slytherin house, Salazar Slytherin started the school with three other people one of those being Helga Hufflepuff. He acknowledged her talent and her ability to raise people in such a way that was different than his and worthwhile. Was he perfect? absolutely not. But did he have the ability to acknowledge his own faults or at least some of them? Yes he did. No one is perfect and no one should be ashamed of the traits that they have. Build upon yourself and take the lessons that you learn and apply them to helping others, and being opportunistic and fortunate. Whether you view helping others as a kindness, or pragmatism or honorable, it is something that every human acknowledges as necessary for our survival.
i guess its more the name
i mean common hufflepuff sounds goofy as shit
Welcome to the best common room in the dayum game son! I'll be here all week.
There’s nothing wrong with being a Hufflepuff. We’re ride or die for our friends, and we get along with everyone… including the green snobby ones.
@Jackerson If you're a puff, you're a puff, Wigglytuff.

Cooking with magic? I was already Hufflepuff but that's just the icing on the cake I'm going to bake.
@Jackerson They're called Hufflepuff because that's what you'll be doing when you cross their homies. They pull down their pants and you huff and puff.

Just the fact that he said that what he values most between these choices is loyalty... yeah he sure is a hufflepuff. xD

Hufflepuff is the best house.. The dorm is in the best location, they do a lot of stuff with magical creatures and some of the most famous and successful wizards of all time were Hufflepuff's.
You can run from it. You can hide from it. At the end of the day, the hat chose Hufflepuff. Welcome, brother.
love how all we get out of him is just a no, then it ends right there, pretty funny
Asmon: [...] absolutely!
Hat: Hufflepuff!
Asmon: "😳😱🤨 no"
It's alright, Asmon. Cedric Diggory is in Hupplepuff, too.
Pftt 😂

I can McConnell roasting the shit out of him. xD
One of the rare moments where chat goes "oh yeah, watch this" and does the cool trick perfectly or gets the answer right immediately 🤣
The sorting chat
He lives in a castle and puts on his costume except when he's streaming.
Missed the opportunity to add the clip of him earlier in the stream when he was doing an online hat sorting quiz. When he was placed into Ravenclaw he says "At least I didn't get Hufflepuff" 🤣
The sorting hat is such a Slytherine lol.
that No at the end lmao
I love how Hufflepuff has been collectively meme'd into being the least desirable house in defiance of the canon.
People will get put into Slytherin and be like "I guess we're killing some mudbloods then."
But getting put into Hufflepuff will give heart attacks and fits of emotional denial.
That was a great reaction. Probably one of his best reaction videos.
Hufflepuff house, known for big dick energy and love for Dr. Pepper. True and real.
