It's not the first time vault dwellers accidentally welcomed raiders. There are many vaults that have been ransacked and turned into slaughterhouse such as Vault 3. I'm glad the writers understand how naive the vault dwellers are and not knowing about the outside world.

Tbh that was a flaw asf in the writing, like these people look like a total 180 compared to the soldiers of hers at the observatory. These people here are just animals.

whole scene reminded me of fallout 76 live action trailer
Moldaver is so evil. She didn't have to do any of this, since she could have just walked into the Vault at any time with NCR troops. She has Pip-Boys. TWO of them. From THIS Vault. That would have made a lot more sense than waiting for somebody to need a groom. How long were they waiting, anyway? Or did they just get super-lucky? What if nobody needed to get married? What would the plan be, then? Maybe she got a look at the script, but not too much, since it would have made more sense to threaten Lucy's dad and get the password right there, while she had hostages.

I want to watch this show but I know nothing about Fallout
You don't need to know anything! I'm a gamer, but I've never had an oportunity to play the Fallout games. But I didn't need any of the games to understand the story or enjoy it. It actually motivated me to try to play them sooner! So give it a watch, you won't regret it.

@@rhettshanley8712 yea she wouldn't want to risk the small remainder of NCR troops she had for this. Probably why they went feral and attacked too, she had minimal control over them
These are definitely not NCR, more like raiders Moldaver hired with how they acted
The NCR remnants at the base and the refugees at Vault 4 didn't act like this
@@rhettshanley8712 Seems plausible but I doubt it. The NCR Remnants becoming essentially pseudo-raiders in that scene makes the decline of the NCR a bit more poetic.
