  • 1. If the damage of the silent Strike (stealth assassination) is over 62% of the enemy's max HP, the enemy is instantly killed.
    2. Silent Strike & Critical Strike & Grapple Strike are separate from normal spear melee attacks.
    Those attacks are unaffected by low health melee boost skills.
    They also don't trigger melee follow coils.
    Grapple Strike installs a resonator, so it is enhanced by the Resonator damage skill.
    Silent Strike is enhanced by Silent Strike + & Stealth Resonator skill.
    3. The damage of Silent Strike, enhanced by Stealth Category new Skills Stealth Resonator(Silent Strike build up Resonator energy faster and deal more damage when your spear is fully charged.) is +7%.
    4. In the current Stalker Stealth mode, stealth shooting does not result in a critical hit. If stealth is broken by one shot, a critical hit will occur even if valor Surge is not over.
    I don't know if that's intended or a bug.
    5. The maximum damage is 2,124 with the sum of Silent strike+ skill 4 level, The Enduring spear enhancement event, Resonator Silent strike Enhancement, and Stalker Stealth Valor Surge Silent Strike damage +200% effect.
    6. Enemies with HP less than 3300 will be instantly killed by the Stalker Stealth Silent Strike as the 2,124 damage exceeds 62% of their HP.
    7. On Normal difficulty, the Stalker Stealth Silent Strike can instantly kill all small to medium weight enemies except Frost Claws.
    8. In addition, use the following sheet to search for enemies with less than 3300 hp.

    Since when does the game behave that way with SIlent Strike? Must have totally missed, to rephrase:
    If SIlent Strike Damage is greater then the 60% of the Current? Health of the enemy, it is instantly killed?
    Did you try to increase the damage with Brittle (i think it does effect Silent Strike Damage by 25%, it does for Critical Strike at least.
    The last part in your video, i did not understand, activates ciritical, no criticial...No idea, could you please explain again here ;-)

    Some testing on charges, i silent strike them for 273 damage, they should have 441 HP...273 is actually the HP of Charger on Very Hard.
    Could i be that the Threshold for Silent Strike Instant kill are the Very Hard HP? And the Difference in HP from Very Hard to Ultra hard is...61,5%?

      However, there will be some parts that have not been conveyed to you because my English skills are not clear, so I will repeat the same content step by step.

      Silenst Strike instant Kill issue
      The key is that there are cases where enemies with higher HP than Silent Strike's maximum damage are killed instantly by Silent Strike.
      In the case of an instant death like that, I noticed that the damage shown on the screen was less than the actual attack power of Silent Strike.
      The damage figure was 61.85% of the enemy's total HP.
      In other words, if the attack power of Silent Strike exceeds 61.85% of the enemy's HP, the enemy will die instantly.
      And since I only needed that much damage, the enemy actually died taking only that much damage, so even if my Silent Strike's attack power was higher than that, the extra damage wouldn't be displayed.
      Only the damage needed to kill was displayed.
      The conditions that would ruin the experiment were well controlled. There is no condition that will increase the damage of Silent Strike more than I intend without knowing it.
      I didn't do anything that weakened the enemy, such as Frost Brittle.
      You just check the damage numbers by hitting your Silent Strike on an enemy with high enough health.
      The maximum damage of Silent Strike is displayed normally only when the enemy does not die.
      After that, find an enemy with 110-150% HP of that damage value on the sheet and hit him with your Silent Strike.
      Then the enemy will die with a damage value lower than the maximum damage your Silent Strike can do.
      I think that because the enemy only needed that much damage to die, he took only that much damage and ignored anything beyond that.
      I think this was a clever design that made it fun to assassinate weak enemies in succession, while not over-damaging strong enemies.
      Silent Strike is too weak to secretly steal too much health from powerful enemies as they start the fight.
      However, it is useful because you can kill a weak enemy with a single hit by inflicting damage equal to or greater than 62% of the enemy's HP with Silent Strike.

      Stalker Stealth Valor Surge critical issue
      Meanwhile, the end of the video is separate from Silent Strike.
      1. When Stalker Stealth Valor Surge is active,
      2. and the enemy doesn't recognize Aloy (not red eyes)
      3. Aloy's ranged attacks do not inflict critical hits.
      1-2 Stalker Stealth is still active, but if an enemy notices Aloy (Red Eyes), critical strikes will now work properly.
      1-3 If you prevent the enemy from recognizing Aloy with a smoke grenade while Stalker Stealth is still in progress, the critical hit will be deactivated again.
      2-1 When Stalker Stealth Valor Surge is not active, the critical strike will work regardless of whether the enemy notices Aloy or not.
      The crit chance in the video was 80%, but I made it 100% and tested it several times.
      This is separate from the optical camouflage graphic effect on Aloy's body.
      A machine that recognizes Aloy once will not miss it even if Aloy's optical camouflage graphic is restored.
      Use smoke bombs or run away to distract enemies. Through these factors, I controlled the experiment.
      When the Stealth Stalker is active and the gauge remains,
      Regardless of the camouflage graphic of Aloy's body -
      Critical ranged attacks cannot be applied to enemies with blue or yellow eyes.
      Critical damage only works when the enemy machine recognizes Aloy with red eyes.
      This isn't very unusual.
      If this is not a bug,
      We can think of the Valor Surge Power Shot and the Volt Blaster's weapon technique, Stained Burst.
      For damage balance, they do not crit.
      If this is a bug,
      We can recall that the Elite Sharpshot arrows from the Iriv Sharpshot Bow dealt too low damage to enemies in the Frost Brittle state.
      Guerrilla was trying to set a limit so that the new weapon's damage wouldn't get too high, but he entered the wrong number.
      It was patched through a later update.
      In addition, all three weapon techniques, which are not very strong in the Shredder Gauntlet, do not generate critical.
      I can't even fathom the intent behind making this, so I don't know if it's a bug or not.
      The guerrillas just took guerrilla-like measures against Stalker Stealth. haha

      @@vonyvory Thank you for taking your time writing this out for me. Damn never actively noted that Steal Stalker can´t crit, alway thought i had bad luck when i used it back when doing stealth stuff. Well two new things i learned about Horizon today, which i had not found out myself ;-) So nice findings!
      But why nerfing Stealth Stalker in that way? Maybe it was tuned for the old weapon with the old crit chance. I mean it´s only a 50% damage Bonus, that the Crit Damage of Hunter Bows.
      Probably belongs to the mystery of "the code" i mean, Brittle , Impact damage 100% bonus becomes 80% when hitting a weakspot. Double Notch penalty multiplicator (0,7) becomes 0,9 with Powershot...but how they arrive to that number...no idea.
      Shredders are bugged anyway, Shock Shredders do 50% +19,5% on the first Grind, and 19,5% on the 2nd and 3rd. Acid Shredder Initial damage after 1 catch gets 50% Bonus from somehwere (so 57% / 150% / 250% instead of 57/100/200).
      The elemental Explosions Damage seems to be somewhat fixed and only influenced by very few things. So is the initial damage for Plasma and Shock Ropes.
      Wonder if Silent/Critical/Grapple Strike not triggering Melee Follow Up is a bug too.

      I deeply sympathize with the frustrating problems you listed.
      There are too many things we can't admit to the guerrilla intentions or understand the mathematical workings of game phenomena.
      In particular, this stalker stealth shooting nerf is unacceptable.
      In the skill window, it is written that Stalker Stealth increases Silent Strike damage by +200% and Stealth Shot by +50%.
      However, the fact that a stealth shot cannot produce a critical is close to deception.
      On the other hand, some of the problems you presented have reasons I anticipate.
      The reason why Double Notch and Triple Notch have different damage increase multipliers for Power Shot and Range Master is as follows.
      The points are 200% enhancement of Power Shot and
      Range Master's 60% + 40% enhancement
      Whether it is calculated for the 100% attack power of the original single arrow or applied to the arrow that has been split and weakened to 70%.
      Let's say the arrow's damage is 100.
      on power shot,
      The damage of a single shot is as follows.
      100+(100 * 2) = 300
      The damage of the double shot is as follows.
      {70+(100*2)} * 2arrows = 270*2
      According to your experience, 270 is 90% of 300.
      Two arrows with each arrow equaling 90% of the original arrow's attack power.
      It's not [{70+(70*2)} *2arrow] or [ {(100+200)*0.7} * 2arrows ]
      so you're confused.
      If the arrow's damage is 100,
      The damage of a single shot during Range Master is as follows.
      100+(100 * 0.6) = 160
      The damage of the double shot is as follows.
      70+100 * 2 arrows = 170 * 2
      It's not [ {(100+100*0.6)*0.7} + {(160*0.7)*0.4} ] *2arrow.
      In this case, the difference between the result of the formula expected by common sense and the result of the actual formula is small that many people would have overlooked it.

      This explains well that double shots are more than twice as strong as single shots during range masters.

      In a fighting game, elbow and knee attacks from the clinch are treated as throws rather than punches and kicks.

      저는 약점에 최대 대미지 용도 이리브, 멀리서 대충 관통 용도로 무덤노래꾼을 사용중입니다. 둘다 치명타 확률 +15% 5개를 설치했습니다. 정예치명타가 생기면 이리브부터 주고요.
      무덤에 정예5개를 박으면 인간들 헤드샷 노릴 필요도 없이 몸에 관통화살로 한방에 죽어나가니 편하긴 한데, 대인 전투가 너무 싱거워지더군요.
      반면, 관통화살로 두 기계를 동시에 꿰어맞추거나 기계와 탑승자를 동시에 꿰뚫는 재미가 쏠쏠했습니다.
      오히려 코일을 3개만 박을 수 있는 그 밑등급 샤프샷보우에 세팅 재미가 있었습니다.
      예를 들어 검은 물결 샤프샷활은 충격 대미지가 낮으니 파쇄를 강화해서 부품 파쇄용으로 사용한다든지,
      낮은 등급 속성 화살이 재장전이 빠른 것을 이용해 당기기 속도 코일만 설치한 저등급 활을 플라즈마 캐니스터 격발용으로 쓴다든지 하는 거죠.
      정예치명타 코일이 없으면 대장간의 몰락에 공중의 적 25%만 잔뜩 달고 치명타 강화나 파워샷 용기 후 워터윙이 땅에 내려오기 전에 원샷원킬 한다든지 여러 궁리가 나올 텐데,
      그냥 정예치명타를 이리브나 무덤노래에 설치하고 쏴대면 만사 해결 되죠.
      무덤노래가 화살이 싼 관통화살도 쓸 수 있어서 자원 부담도 없고요.

      @@user-qw2bu2vw5i 저도 영상 찍기 전에는 에일로이가 강해질 뿐 제 전략이나 컨트롤이 다듬어지지는 않았죠. 저렇게까지 하지 않아도 깨지고, 저렇게까지 안 해도 재미 있으니까. 그게 이 게임의 미덕이자 아쉬운 부분인것같아요. 기본 컨셉의 매력이 확고하고 편의성이 높아서 일단 재미있는데, 더 재미있어지기 위한 고급정보가 설명만 되어있을 뿐, 그걸 활용하고 익숙해질 유인 제공이 적다는 거.
      게다가 이 영상의 내용처럼 아예 설명이 안 되어있거나 오류가 있는 것들도 꽤 되니....
      근데 그게 워낙에 어려운 거잖아요. 설명과 강제는 줄인 채 재미있게 익혀나가도록 유도 하기가.
