To not be a racist today, is to go against a lot of what you have seen and heard during your life. That being said, as an American, you have to consciously try NOT to be racist. And if a person says that is not true?, you are in denial of something that is totally obvious. To be honest, every white person in this country, would say, "Thank God I was not born Black in this country". In order to move through this history we need to acknowledge and understand this history.
