“They believe in themselves defensively” that’s ironic considering the defense gave up 48 points against the Packers and failed the team even more than Dak in said game.
Dak is responsible for 14 of those points given up. The defense can't stop a pick six when they aren't even on the field and the other pick where they were backed up into their own endzone is on Dak as well. The defense did give up 34 and couldn't stop the run at all(that is their fault). The same problems Dak had when he was drafted are still the same problems he has today. He still can't read a defense. His accuracy is still up and down. And he still can't perform against top-tier teams.
Except what happened was Dak was so awful in that game that the defense just gave up. Plus Dak is responsible for 14 of those points because of a pick 6 and an interception deep in Cowboys territory.
The offense has to chew up the clock defenses are not built to necessarily stop a team from scoring every possession just like offenses aren’t built to score every possession but when your offense GIVES the other team extra possessions and points then it’s hard to keep the other team from winning

Then when he threw the pick 6 the game was over. The D did make a stop between the first TD and the first INT but I am sure when Dak threw that INT the whole team went " Oh No Dak is crapping down his leg again " and that is sure to wear on the D's mindset and play. Then when it looked like they were going to have a chance to make a game of it by double dipping at the HT. Dak threw the pick 6 which just solidified all the doubts about Dak, not to mention the 2 or 3 other passes that should have been picked. I think they saw that no matter what they did, Dak would find a way to blow it. You could see how nervous and tense he was, some people perform great under pressure and some melt, Dak is just one of those people that melts.

It is Dak's fault and here's why. Dak couldn't put together any sustainable drive to keep the defense off the field. Everyone knows that if you have a worn down defense, scoring will be easy. Since there were several short drives by Dallas and green Bay had several long drives, the cowboys defense were tired. Dak is at least 80% at fault in this situation because he was over and under throwing open receivers. He's trash under pressure and until he either learns how to thrive under pressure or the cowboys get rid of him, they will continue to come up short every year

I think we're witnessing the beginning of the end of the current iteration of the Dallas Cowboys. When multiple factions of the organization are speaking out like this, and creating drama, it's a bad sign for the team, as a whole. When they underachieve (again) next season, they will have a lot of tough decisions to make.
Totally agree, but I will take it one step further. This is the beginning of the end of the Jerry led Cowboys, its been a sinking ship for 28 years but this is something different. Jerry has proven to be a con man, selling a faulty product year after year to the fans. He finally did something good by putting Jimmy Johnson in the ROH but its too little too late. Jerry lost this team, he just hasnt accepted it yet.

as a cowboy hater i love it, it’s like a gift that keeps on giving. a cycle that will never be broken. Off-season hype build up-> regular season champions -> premature playoff exit-> slideshow of crying cowboys fans-> repeat. i’d say i could listen to a week or two more of them berating the cowboys to oblivion
