Cowboys had the worst playoff collapse, but the Eagles had the worst season collapse
Sure, but after 6 weeks of awful football, everyone with an understanding of football saw the Eagles loss coming

@@Dyinchugnan969we were gonna play detroit, and plus our coordinators are gonna be changed which is a positive now
Dallas never had a real defense. You can disguise not having a simple 4-3, 3-4 cover 2 zone with a lot of pressure on the qb. Which is why they're running the nickel 10 3 2 6 and blitz defenses no matter what the opposition is stacking on offense per play. Show me the teams ranked in run defense with no sacks and ill show you what a zone is supposed to look like.
Don't forget the Miami Dolphins
Let's not forget that the last time the Cowboys went to the NFC Championship Game, Jordan Love wasn't even born yet.

As a DAL, this DAL loss was the worse. They were the NFC east champs, best home record, top 5 defense, home field advantage, 2nd most pro bowlers, were playing a team who barely made the playoffs.

What defines disappointment? Expectations. Eagles overall season much more disappointing, but being 1-5 in last six entering playoffs I don’t think any sane person expected anything from them at that point. Meanwhile, many believed this to really be the year the cowboys broke thru the choking allegations all the way up to the playoffs, especially once securing home field for first two rounds. So to come out against the 7 seed and get ROUTED at home where you’d been so dominant… has to be a far greater disappointment
Even some of Eagles win are not impressive too while Dallas is blowing up every team with high score with their defense and offense.
No one who saw that game can honestly say the Cowboys loss wasn't THE most disappointing game of the entire NFL season! Not just because they lost at home, which they hadn't done in 15 straight home games, not just because they seemed so ready for a deep run in the playoffs this year, but because of HOW they lost. They were embarrassed in all three phases of the game. The coaches were out-coached, the defense was completely befuddled, the offense was non-existent until it was a 48-16 debacle!
Everyone saw how badly the Eagles had eroded all season. They won games they should have lost early in the season, and the problems they had continued to fester until San Francisco demolished them. Then Dallas demolished them. Then Seattle dominated them. Then Arizona dominated them. Then the lowly Giants embarrassed them IN PHILLY! Everyone saw how bad that team was, so why would anyone be shocked to watch Tampa Bay humiliate them in Tampa?
16 straight at home
Giants won at home, not in Philly
Offense turned on at garbage time
@@jdoconnor8883 more than the Eagles could do at least
@@afguy79 You think that matters?
With how bad our secondary performed down the stretch I knew we were in trouble against the bucs receiving core. Our regular season was definitely a bigger disappointment but the post season loss definitely had to sting more for Dallas
YES MOST DEFINITE
Nobody expected the eagles to win.
Exactly and I’m a eagles fan
Post SB hangover lol
It is going to be a long offseason in Dallas & Philly
Eagles collapse started over a month. Dallas actually looked competent going into the playoffs so the cowboy’s collapse was worse. Almost got 50 points put on their heads at home to a 7 seed

9:35 HIT THE MUSIC!!! 🎶 😂
The reason the Cowboys are the most hated team is because when they lose the media can’t stop talking about them. The Cowboys no longer hold any records in the NFL , they are no longer a Dynasty and have not been to the super-bowl in 28 years. I really wish the media would just treat the Cowboys like the mediocre team they are.
Also stop calling them America’s team. We all hate the cowboys
Man I can’t believe we talking about the losers more than the teams that have a game this weekend.
Stephen A. continues to give the Cowboys publicity … all pundits do!
I really don't understand this show. They can't make up their mind if Dallas is a superbowl contender or not.
I was hoping for a Cowboys humiliating loss. But I would have never imagined a disaster like this one. This was pure gold! Thank you, Green Bay Packers!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Mad Dog smirks like he was just told a secret 🤣
It’s the cowboys, because it wasn’t just Dak this time. It was the entire roster that didn’t come to play. Micah had 1 tackle and the coaching staff changed their whole formula from man to zone.
Lol no i love how cowboy haters want it both ways they don’t believe they are gonna make noise in the playoffs then pretend to be surprised when they do eventually lose 😂 which is it are you surprised or not surprised you can’t have both 😂 besides Eagles went from nearly winning the superbowl and continuing their run at 10-1 to only lose the last 6/7 games and all they did was lose Coordinators and it looked like they were on a rebuild of the entire team.
I say the eagles too… nobody has hope for the cowboys. They could go 16-0 and I know they not going past the first round 😂💀
personally, i think that would be worse than the '08 Lions

As an Eagles fan, even with our demise beginning after that OT win against the Bills the bigger disappointment is us. We lost a heartbreaker in the Super Bowl to the Chiefs. Came out this season and started 10-1. I had a ton of questions based on the coaching even in the wins, but it finally caught up and it exploded like a fart bomb. To not win the division, to not capture the #2 seed, and to not even win 12 games after that 10-1 start and lose 6 of 7 games to ultimately have the season end in Tampa Bay (again) is utterly disgusting and disheartening. Nick Sirianni, Brian Johnson, Sean Desai, and Matt Patricia are all horrible coaches and did a horrible job of making adjustments and were not creative in the least. Every opponent pretty much knew what we were gonna call especially on offense. And trying to turn Jalen Hurts into a pocket QB is not good at all. He's a dual threat. Maybe he wasn't as healthy as people think, but if you're not gonna allow him to use his legs then let D'Andre Swift get his carries and RUN THE BALL. That's where Shane Steichen is missed. He ran the ball relentlessly as our OC.
As a philly fan, its disappointing but since week one, i didnt like what i was seeing. Week after week was a nail biter. If the team hadnt changed and this was the season we got then it would have been more disappointing than Dallas. But the impact of loosing steichen alone was enough to soften the blow of disappointment.
DALLAS on the other hand, trotted the madame tussauds version of Dolly Parton out just to sign we are the champions!!! Amongst so much else foolishness, and make history for being the first team to lose to a 7 seed in the first round! Thats the most disappointing thing ive ever heard lolllllll and as a philly fan its the only thing keeping a smile on my face right now! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
Nah that’s jets game

You could kinda see the Eagles collapse by the way they played in the final third of the season.
You knew from the beginning of the season that the Cowboys were going to fall flat in the playoffs.
In the end, 31 teams wind up being disappointments.
not really true. 31 teams may be disappointed but they aren't disappointments.
@@roland7584 They are disappointments to their fans. If we aren't talking about the fans, then we're talking about the media being disappointed with the Cowboys or the Eagles, which is actually what they're talking about.
@@rons3634 Fans of all 31 teams aren't disappointed though. Most fans have such low expectations of their teams that even 4 wins is a great season and they're glad its over. There isn't a Broncos or Raiders fan that thought they were going to the Superbowl, much less winning it. Jets fans were disappointed in game 1, and after that everything else was just gravy. Giants fans knew they had no shot. The Cardinals, Saints, Commanders, Panthers?? They're ecstatic for this season to end. I could go on and on. Ravens, 9ers are the only 2 with high expectations, and maybe the Bills too. The rest in the playoffs are all on cloud 9 and will be happy with any result at this point.
The Cowboys all this hype all season and yet again fold like chairs in the postseason it’s like a weekly tv show and it’s great😂😂😂
I’m a Cowboys fan and I thought GB would win but not a blow out.
I have no faith in Dak to play good against a good team!
I wouldn’t say no faith in him to play good against good teams. Because he does play good against some good teams. Now if you say “I have no faith in him when the lights are the brightest” that’s fair. Because how can you
I have no faith in Dak playing without a lead.
@@goroadachi9489 exactly!
He is incapable of taking the team on his back and make a couple of plays!
Dak is a regular season stat padder and a postseason choker… plain and simple he cannot win big games he can’t ball when his team is down. The defense is foogazy frauds
He doesn’t have faith in himself.
Come on it's the Eagles as a whole. Reaching the SB the previous year, starting 10-1, and then collapsing.
The Cowboys have been doing this for 28-29 years, it's not surprising.
Naw cowboys was talking the most trash talk
@@ayo2315 I get that, but it's EVERY year. And it's quite crazy that they were 12-5 for 3 years in a row. It's just not that surprising anymore.
Here's my thing, we saw the Eagles being first round exits because of how the last 7 weeks of the season went. Their loss wasn't that surprising. The Cowboys, on the other hand, we knew they would disappoint in the playoffs because they always do. However, no one expected it to be like that, a first round blowout loss at home to a 7 seed. That's why they are biggest collapse to me.
Cowboys were the #2 seed and made history when they lost at home
Lol no one thought Greenbay was gonna win. Everyone was picking Tampa Bay over eagles. It's more disappointing for Dallas. The #2 seed losing their forst hike game while also being the forst team to ever lose to a #7seed. It's no5 even close. The cowboys are straight clowns. The eagles had injuries too, cowboys were peak. Not even a debate
As a fan of the NYG this warms my ❤! Both teams cannot lose enough! Glad their fans are suffering 😂
Y’all aren’t even competitive in the division. Why are you talking?😂😂😂

The Dallas collapse was way worse. They were the higher seed, getting blown out at home. And their game was never particularly close. The Eagles were at least behind by only a single score at most for half of the game.
As a Commanders fan this segment ybrings me so much joy! 😂

We already knew the Cowboys were going to lose, so the Eagles collapse in the end of the season is more shocking. Especially because of where they was at one season ago.
I think it was more shocking for the cowboys to be blown out at home like that. The writing was on the wall for Philly for over a month now. I didn't expect Philly to win.
They lost 1 season ago too.
As a Cowboy fan I say this… If you’re a first time QB going against Dallas you just have to have a good football IQ and be aggressive you will not fail.

That’s freaking HILARIOUS!!!!
As a hurt Cowboys fan, I got to laugh at this well deserved, insanely good diss track. THIS, apparently is what the Cowboys do, and have done for the last 29 years; which is to get us all hyped up with hope only to disappoint us and break our hearts. Cowboys WILL BE BACK though for sure. They just need to rest and regroup. The only thing that's constant is change.
Already with the “we’ll be back” lol
Cowboys do this every year tho😂
Yes, but they thought since they were at home and it was the Packers that they would win
The worst thing about the Cowboys loss to Green Bay was that they won the division when Philly was on pace to win it… so they overcame those odds to put themselves in prime position for success, then they fell apart.
That team always make you think they’re gonna do big things, then completely wet the bed.
I have that song in my play list lol been having it for about 2years
Calling a grown man doggy 😒
😂
Of course the Cowboys were the bigger collapse. They were at home where they had won 16 straight. They were favored by more. My Niners had already BROKE the Eagles. Then the Eagles limped into the playoffs losing 5 of their last 6. A lot of us were picking Tampa Bay knowing Philly’s terrible form and Eagles had to play on the road since they practically gift-wrapped that division title to Dallas. Lost any HCA because of that.
Well put and thorough analysis by SAS (although rare).
the song hardd! 😂🔥
Second year in a row dak loses to a first year starter making his playoff debut😂
The common factor between the Eagles and the Cowboys is that they both start running quarterbacks. There are a lot of winners in the draft who can take these same teams much farther than Hurts or Prescott ever took them. J.J. McCarthy just carried Michigan to the national championship, and he'll be available when the Eagles and Cowboys are picking. Michael Pratt from Tulane is another QB they'll want to consider.
What game in the playoffs were you watching? JJ did nothing in the CFP passing the ball. It was all their running game and he made one big play with his legs.
@@Firezap14 When he needed to step up and make big-time throws, he delivered. That's what the NFL is all about. His drive to force overtime against Alabama is what NFL teams are looking for. J.J. has the Joe Montana-Tom Brady winning gene. It's all about the intangibles.
@@ZenigundamI’ll take Jalen or even dak over JJ McCarthy kid won’t make it in the nfl

THANKS FOR SAYIN THAT STEPHEN!!!
I agree with Mad Dog. If you are out there, you’re not injured. If you are injured, you not going to play. Philly’s collapse was destined but still disappointing. All of their games, literally all of them, were nail bitters.
Disappointment is Philadelphia. When they were 10-1, there will still many that had them making a run because they were "finding ways to win". Even with Dallas, opinions on them were split all season long, so why would it be that surprising in that regard ? Disappointment means below expectations. That's Philadelphia. Even the people that were critical of Philadelphia before the losing streak didn't see a fall like they had coming
Maybe it’s because of the 2nd half of the season they went 1-6 they weren’t expecting Eagles to get it right. Maybe if it went the opposite way then they would say Eagles were more disappointing. But definitely I would agree with you & look at it from a ranking standpoint. You can’t go 11-6 and get eliminated the first game. That in itself is more disappointing. I’ll give Cowboys credit for at least trying to make a comeback. Eagles got shut out with only 9 points
Nah. We did. No team can lose 5 of 6 games going into the playoffs and turn it around. We knew eagles were done but we expected cowboys to be at the NFC championship game. So they are the bigger disappointment. Eagles were bad for 2 months
Nobody had the Eagles as a super bowl favorite even up to a few weeks ago. Even the players themselves had no hope. The Cowboys been puffing their chests out all season and were a legit super bowl contender and crashed horribly. It was 27-0 at the half against the best home team in the league. No way it was philly when even during their streak people said they needed to get better.
@SupremeGon that's not true at all lol. Shady McCoy, Joy Taylor, and many other media members that are Eagles fans kept telling us that "But we're winning though". Don't revise history lmao
@@jctslice yeah back when the win streak was rolling. Show me where in this last losing streak they been sayi g they are favored to win the super bowl? Shady a philly alum and even he cane around to realizing they are a bad team same with Joy. Dont try and cherry pick 10 weeks ago like opinions didnt change in the weeks leading up to the playoffs. Nice try though. Their whole point was they would figure it out and they clearly never did so that invalidated their stance.
The song killed me love Stephen A lmaooo
Mad Dogs smirk when Stephen started talking was hilarious 😂 he knew it was about to be some gospel!
As a life long 9er fan I expect nothing less from Dallas. I had green bay by 14+ I didn't expect the complete collapse from Dallas that happened eagles we all saw it coming since the 9ers beat down. 9ers gave everyone the blueprint to blow the eagles out and teams followed it. Jerry Jones is 100% the issue in Dallas he don't want a coach that has a backbone he wants a lap dog and yes man doing exactly what he wants. When Jerry lets a coach be a coach and brings in an actual GM and he just signs the checks Dallas will be dangerous until then it will be the same story every year
Stephen A would rather laugh at the cowboys and talk about the eagles rather than teams that actually won and advanced to the next round. Anything for views I guess
