I mean even moogs rotary comment was out of left field, Theres definitely been some strange tension these past couple years and that was a small snippet of an uncut moment of that tension.... maybe its just me but caught me off guard forsure...

He's been really negative and toxic in several of the videos. Remember the one about the orange Civic? He took his jokes way too far and you can see Marty was annoyed with him. Marty did 90% of the work and complained 10% and Moog did 10% of the work and did 90% of the complaining.
Hope Moog figures things out soon so Marty doesn't get frustrated and leave.

If anyone thinks for a second that this is a waste of money, well it’s not. It’s a huge investment in learning. It’s a huge investment in making connections with a broader community of people who start off strangers and end up friends. It’s an investment of doing cool things. It’s an investment in problem solving. It’s a collection of experiences and for that, people will spend far more to achieve by travelling, or a hobby, or paying for courses. It’s all relative.
Moog’s experiences are not just his. They are shared experiences of everyone that helped in all degrees of involvement.
It is expressly this view point that has had me frothing watching this. I don’t even like VW’s but I love watching people create and problem solve. What a ride.
    Absolute value was achieved.

Marty and Moog, the dynamic duo from Down Under, were revved up with excitement as they hatched a plan to build the ultimate Volkswagen Up. The mates had always dreamed up cars and turning their passion for automotive adventures into reality.
One sunny day, Marty showed up at Moog's garage with a gleam in his eye. "Mate, let's team up and build a Volkswagen Up like no one's ever seen," Marty exclaimed, holding up a sketch of their ambitious project. Moog, never one to pass up on an opportunity, eagerly agreed, and they set out to gather the parts needed for their custom creation.
The duo scoured junkyards, looking for discarded Volkswagen parts to spruce up their project. Moog, with his infectious enthusiasm, would constantly shout, "Up we go!" every time they found a salvageable piece. Their determination was unwavering, and the pile of parts began to pile up higher and higher.
As they worked tirelessly in Moog's garage, the atmosphere was charged with the energy of their shared dream. Tools clinked and clanked, and Marty's voice could be heard yelling, "Hold it up, Moog!" whenever a component needed adjustment. The friends were on an upward trajectory, transforming a humble Volkswagen Up into a roaring masterpiece.
Their project became a local sensation, and word about the eccentric duo and their "Upgraded Up" spread like wildfire. Soon, a local car show organiser contacted them, inviting them to showcase their creation. Marty and Moog were thrilled, and they ramped up their efforts to ensure the Volkswagen Up would steal the show.
On the big day, the friends proudly drove their customised Volkswagen Up onto the stage, revving up the engine to a cheering crowd. Marty looked at Moog and said, "We're really up there, mate!" The audience erupted in applause, and the mates basked in the satisfaction of a job well done.
Their success, however, wasn't just about the car. Marty and Moog had built more than a vehicle; they had built a friendship that had only strengthened throughout the ups and downs of their project. As they celebrated their triumph, Moog grinned and remarked, "We've taken this project to the next level, and we're not planning on stopping anytime soon!"
The Volkswagen Up became a symbol of their dedication, creativity, and the enduring spirit of mateship. Marty and Moog's story echoed through the automotive community, inspiring others to rev up their passions and take their dreams to new heights.
In the end, Marty and Moog proved that when you team up with a mate and refuse to give up, you can turn even the most humble Volkswagen Up into something extraordinary. As they drove off into the sunset in their custom creation, the friends knew that their journey was not just about the destination but the exhilarating and uplifting experience of getting there together.

Might have been easier to sneak a complete UK Up Gti in and swap the vin plates . Kudos for sticking to it!

Just import a complete UK Up GTI, don't even have to be sneaky about it. Do a body-swap and done. That could have been one episode but I guess they made more money this way

You know something I've learned a long time ago is that it doesn't matter how much a build costs or how much work it is. As long as you're having fun and doing/building what makes you happy then that's all that matters.
