- Our reaction to "Tout l'univers" - Switzerland's Eurovision 2021 song from Gjon's Tears. It's the first French-language entry from the country to compete at Eurovision in eleven years.
Gjon - full name Gjon Muharremaj - says he wants to song to lift people up: “It was important for us to keep hope in this particularly difficult time: We must not give up and we must stay strong. With love, friendship, strength and courage, we can rebuild our future. I am convinced that in this exceptional situation it is possible to rediscover and reinvent ourselves.”

@@devilcat6663 I don’t consider 2019 a masterpiece at all but a great effort to do well. It was a good song but can’t be compared with Gjohn’s songs. Last year and this year are too good for Eurovision
In my view, 2019 was a masterpiece as well. But you're right, they did incredibly well. I thought it would be very difficult to top Répondez moi but they succeeded

I disagree with you. I did not like last year's song at all. This year is far better without of course driving me crazy, because I find its melody a bit subdued without giving me the impetus to travel. But of course this is just an opinion.
I’ve watched Eurovision for 5 years now and this song is the first one to completely silence me. It made me feel so much. Genuinely gorgeous. Phenomenal. Beyond words!

Tout l'Univers made me cry. Even Arcade, my favourite Eurovision entry ever, wasn't able to do that. Switzerland should win, the Swiss deserve it.
I am saying this now, with the amount of upbeat mid tempo songs this year, France and Switzerland's win is very possible. Like those upbeat songs will cancel each other out that the televotes will be so divided.

At the moment, I’m rooting for Italy. They should have a win after delivering quality for the last few years (they were my no 1 multiple times, including this year) - but Gjon definitely deserves it. Both of his songs are simply beautiful ✨

One of the most beautiful and stirring songs I've ever heard. It feels out of this world... His interview on the Eurovision channel sheds more light into his vision for the song, I love his hopeful and encouraging message
I'm swiss and i personally think this was the best ESC entry our country has ever had. So much emotion in this. I'm so sad he didn't win but Switzerland hasn't been as high as 3rd place in a long time and i'm just so proud of him.

I truly didn't know what to do with my face or hands since the song started until its end. The lyrics, the production, the instruments and more importantly his voice are a masterpiece.

"Repondez-moi" was one of my favorites from last year. It was such a creative song vocally, I didn't think there was a way Switzerland and Gjon could come up with something even in the same class. This performance is just so beautiful. Of all the returning artists from last year that I have heard so far, this is the only performance that seems to have equaled or increased the impact from the entry from last year. Seeing this performed live will be amazing.

This is something I'm really concerned about... Because they're both ballads in french with a beautiful haunting melody. Hope they both do well!
France and Switzerland are quite different. France is more a calm vibe, it can play in a French theater in the 50's or something. Switzerland is more epic, mesmerizing and heartfelt. I don't think they will cancel each other out. France is in my top 5 as well but Switzerland is my winner by a mile

I feel like this one is more of a theme matched with cinematography. Repondez moi was great but Tout L’universe perfected what the former song started.

It's weird that Switzerland, a country that usually doesn't do well in Eurovision, before 2019 their only good entry between 2000-2018 was Vanilla Ninja-Cool Vibes and now they have had 3 amazing songs 3 years in a row.
He was my favorite last year, and he is again this year.
It is *NOT* falsetto, it is brilliant head voice - big difference!

I definitely want and need, more than just guessing, he wins!!! I want it from the bottom of my heart since the first time I heard it, along with the video, which is, speaking for myself, just the perfect combination to get into it completely. It's one of the few songs that moves me that much that it gives me goosebumps every time, even though I've heard it a thousand times yet. That's truly amazing for an artist. He's incredibly gifted, especially being so young!!! I'm convinced he's here to stay 💯❤❤. If I had the chance, my 12 points would be straight for Switzerland and Gjon.

It is a haunting, emotional and striking track. It completely engulfs my attention whenever I hear it. I can just envision the staging and performance being captivating. I think this is going to do very well, at least I hope so.

This is an amazing song and he is a great vocalist. I could have loved this song even without him being an Albanian. ( I am Albanian, by the way).
