Luca was on my wishlist for quite a long time and I still can't belive they've actually send him. Switzerland is my winner again after 2 years! I think it's safe to say that it will probably qualify - we have the singer's vocal abilities, his dancing, personality, popularity in Germany and Austria, even his looks... The song is extremely catchy and I expect a good staging. Also, Switzerland have one of the only 2 (or the only one, depending on what Sweden choses tonight) male performers in the first half of Semi-Final 2!

Anyway, I love the entry. Especially the fact that it mixed contemporary sound with Mediterranean (I guess Greek), a bit of instrument that was in Azerbaijan 2009 and indie guitar, is awesome! My 9th right now.
I personally think this year is stronger than 2018.

I was walking by a busker in London who just started playing a song which sounded a lot like the Swiss entry. And when he got to the chorus, i realized the song was DESPACITO and not SHE GOT ME.

@@maxt2391 Fanbase doesn't mean that much. People also said that Jenifer Brening (San Marino 2018) would get the 12p from Germany and people went apeshit at me because I said she can be lucky if she receives any points at all. And guess how many she received from Germany? Zero.
Or Nicky Byrne (Ireland 2016). People were so confident that he would receive loads of points from all over the world because he was in Westlife. And I almost received death threats when I said he might not even qualify for the final.
Fanbase can help, but shouldn't be overestimated. The last time Luca charted in Germany was in 2013... So he isn't exactly a big star anymore. Some people will remember him, but what makes people pick up their phones is the song and the performance. Luca's song is lightyears better than Jenifer B's song, so he will definitely not get a zero from Germany, but it's not like he's unbeatable either. We have a positive bias towards the Netherlands too, so Duncan might snatch it from Luca :)

It's only similar to Fuego in that it uses Mediterranean sounds. But I think it's unique enough to stand on its own. Yes, it's weird hearing those sounds outside of a Greek, Cypriot or Israeli song but it's whatever.
