Thank you very much for this amazing and easy prawn curry recipe...everyone loved it. my dad even asked who taught me this recipe!?! So my compliments to you. I tweaked the recipe a lil bit to get south indian flavour.. besides following your recipe-- I fried a pinch of methi seeds before adding the onions (it gives an amazing aroma), added some curry leaves along with the onions and added 1/2 tsp pepper powder along with the other masalas.
I made this coconut prawn curry for dinner. My Indian boyfriend finished every bit of it and he licked the pan and the serving spoon afterwards! It was seriously so good! I used coconut oil and I also added mustard seeds, desiccated coconut, and a bit of Kashmiri chili powder. Thank you so much for sharing this video. I love it! (Viewer from Taipei, Taiwan)
Thanks for such lovely comment! It makes my day.. glad to hear he relished the food.. credit goes to you for making such delicious food.. posting a video by someone who knows to cook is easy.. but when someone tries it and gets it good is much more great!! Thanks for trying the recipe 🙂

Just tried the recipe, doubled up the amount of ingredients apart from the prawns and added paneer. Amazing. Slightly different to my usual curry method, will be adopting this going forward
I did this today and it was super yummy 😋. ..... just twisted it a lil bit and started with frying curry leaves and awhen reached for spices added oregano,basil,thyme.....Thankyu for the recipe You saved me big time
Hello i did make this it was so delicious thank you for sharing i want to ask you something i can make chicken in the same method thank you i hope to hear from you lots of love from Denmark❤❤❤
**If you’re using a pound of shrimp and a can of coconut milk, double everything** the recipe is for ~2 ppl quantity. If not everything, you’ll want to double the seasoning, I had to add more to mine so my can of coconut milk didn’t drown everything out.

Can I use coconut cream?
Yun
is it authentic
Can o do this with chicken too ?I done it with prawns and it’s amazing ❤
Yes you can! Just add pasta after chicken is cooked it takes more time than prawn or shrimp.
what is the serving size in this? I have a family of 7 (my kids love curry)
Does it have a strong coconut flavour like a korma?
I might just add a dash of fish sauce ( nam plah)
💚💛❤
This looks like Jamie Oliver's Thai Red Curry

@@ForkFlames 😊😊😊😊
Prawns take 4-5 minutes to cook, if you cook it for 15 minutes it must have gotten chewy
Add curry leaves
Did I miss something but I was expecting curry powder.
Hahaha No curry power here..sorry if I disappointed you
@@ForkFlames lol
Sometimes simple masala is sufficient than killing everything with curry powder its a doze of different spice burst!
…That looks like more than a teaspoon of garlic paste. Imma do a tbsp
What kind of chili powder to use?
Smoked paprika
Seems like the shrimp would be over done.
Not actually
Hello this would serve how many people??
Easily 3-4 people .. Depending on serving portion!
@@ForkFlames I tried this recipe out yesterday...outstanding. Thank you
Tysm for feedback, glad u liked it😊
