I agree with what Matt said in this video, however, I would like to add that if the desk adjuster, agent or insured calls you to discuss the claim/inspection, return the call promptly (same day). If you can't handle a claim for whatever reason, let the IA firm or desk adjuster know as soon as possible so the claim be reassigned, they won't be mad at you unless you sit on it for a week or more before you decide you can't do it. Being in too much of a hurry will get you sent back to get more photos, or require a re-inspection and this costs you more time than if you had taken the time in the first place. Missing items during the inspection can cost you your paycheck as well. Slow down and get the feel/process down before increasing your workload.

Matt, I would disagree.
I scope 10-12 claims a day and write them all the next. Some people work better alternating days scoping and writing. When I'm in my pj's, I want to stay in my pj's all day ;)
