- HopDay Thunderbolt 3 Dock changed my iPad Pro into a true powerhouse/gaming machine!
Thunderbolt drives require Thunderbolt connections. Well worth it to add this to your setup!

This was recorded on iPad Pro straight to my Thunderbolt 3 drive from Camo Studio.
good video, great info. I need to get a thunderbolt doc.
It really changes this to as close as it can get to a MacBook.
Great video.
@@NT-or9wh Thank you. I appreciate it.
Recently I tried an external display for my iPad with a single USB-C/HDMI cable. Seems promising, but it was painful as there was no charging, WIFI only, and volume control didn't work (should do it on the display).
The docking station/unit is the way to go, but when I invest I'll go for 10G ethernet, mainly because I want to use RDP to VMs on Proxmox and latency matters at high resolution.
I enjoy experimenting and figured this was Thunderbolt so I may as well try it. I want to try just the HDMI port to see if it works that way. 10g Ethernet sounds intriguing and totally understand your point on latency.
What keyboard case are you using with your iPadPro?
It’s the Magic Keyboard. It’s nice and aluminum but too pricy.
