Great video Julia! My Lyme Disease which caused Connective Tissue Disorder has gotten a little worse with my age and I can no longer hike. I miss it tremendously, but I do get to live it through videos, and I must say, yours are incredible. Thanks for taking me along!

Julia, you truly are a special person and I'm sure you have touched many people's lives for the betterment of mankind. I love your videos, narration and style. I think hikers carry one thing on their person that most don't even know they carry; souls of others. I truly believe that the souls of people who longed to hike but couldn't, go along for the ride when we hike. They see what we see and love every minute; good and bad. Hike on! Thanks for your videos from the AZT! I followed you and your trail family all the 50 days. My plan was to hike the AZT this spring, but COVID-19 killed all my plan. So I hope for March 2022 and that I not to old (56) 😂. Greetings from Berlin/Germany🙋🏻♂️.
You are not too old. I'm 60 and just finished two 50k's the last 45 days. I'm faster at 60 than I was at 52. The human body is an amazing endurance machine.

I'm 40 and have been in Arizona since I was 3 and didn't know the Arizona trail even existed until I found a guy laying on the side of the I 17 about to die when I was in my thirties. He said he was trying to hike the whole Arizona trail and ran out of water and hiked for miles to get to the interstate hoping to get help. He got there and collapsed just before I found him. I told him anyone who thinks they can hike across the whole state of Arizona must be crazy.
