I don’t have an issue mixing student & artist grade paints but I do find the tinting strength & also the density of the student paints are less. Tho in the winton my quinacridones are single pigment & I havn’t had an issue with the quality of those colours.
@@dorisroseart Thanks for the kind answer. Yes maybe that is no so bad because sometimes this powerful pigments can overtake the palette, for phtalos and quinacridones, I think having lower strength is not an issue haha. Thanks for the tips!!!
Quinacridones from Winton are very high quality, have you ever have problems mixing this lower range with your professional grade paints?
