I'll try making it cheaper and college friendly: -add oil garlic and onions to the pan let it cook -add the fajita seasoning and some tomato puree and let it cook until it's reduced then add the chicken(use chopped liver if you want something super cheap) and cook nicely on all sides then add some frozen veggies(saves alot of time) and let it all cook. -if cashews are cheaper around your area soak overnight and make a cream and use it everywhere you need to use cream.(I usually use a mix of pistachios cashews walnuts and some almonds with some very cheap nuts and seeds and blend them together and just keep them in my fridge it's so convenient and you dont need alot of it because its so so creamy. Now that you have a base you can use it for whatever. Pasta, noodles, as a salad topper or with bread. (For creaminess honesty the best option is a beshamel sauce made with half milk and halfi water or just water like trust me!!)
Adding a serious reply in case it helps anyone: Aldi has their own brand of wine called Winking Owl. They're $2 a bottle, and even say on the back what dishes it helps make. Great for cooking!

For my precious broke college students: -cup ramen with an egg added- put water in your ramen and then crack in a raw egg, microwave until the egg is cooked. Then just mix the egg in before you eat and its so yummy and creamy. I eat this still today and it's so good. You can add hot sauce or Sriracha after it's done cooking. Cheap and with how many eggs you can buy for a few bucks you'll have plenty for a bit. Granted I'm only 18 but I was in college and hoghschool as dual credit so I spent most of my time studying and had no time for a job. It was a simple and yummy meal I could eat while I studied

College students in Denmark must be doing much better than those in the United States. When I was cooking for final year--when we didn't have to eat at the cafeteria--my meals were usually rice and beans, or instant mac 'n' cheese, or Ramen. 😭
I once only ate a small canned salty fish as lunch, and some crackers for dinner during college cause I was hella broke lol. Goddamn it must be nice to be financially stable. I didn't go to big names universities, cause I didn't want to be crippled with debt since I only wanted to at least get some level of education. So the one I went to didn't have a good dormitory(there's a bed, a wooden closet and a studying table), none of that fridge or whatever fancy stuff you guys enjoyed having lol. I can't relate to any of his college experience, but those food looks really good tho. I moved out from my dorm during my last year and found a small house to rent with my friends near my uni, so it was a little bit more pleasant living there. Regardless of how poor our lives were during that time, I still remember it and all I can say about it is that.. It's actually a very memorable with lots happy moments. Honestly, it's all thanks to my friends that went through the hardship alongside me. It's only been 7 years since I graduated but damn, being reminded of it just makes me feeling nostalgic. Being grateful really does make a huge impact on your life even through tough times.
