    I actually enjoy and appreciate these videos due to my job as a wildland firefighter, we are often given shitty lunches or no lunches. Thanks for the help guys! Appreciate the vids. Cheers

      Sorry to hear about your jurisdiction. Here in BC we usually get a good lunch on the 2nd day and after. First day we're responsible for ourselves.

    Alpen fuel is amazing!! My favorite breakfast option hot or cold. Tortillas are the most versatile and I found single serve honey packs… add some peanut butter and you got yourself some magic. Thanks for sharing guys!

    That's a good list. No dehydrated meals? Leaving for CO in 2 days and have my food at 3200-3500 calories per day and 2lbs per day. I've tried to shave weight in the past by cutting back food, never again. That 3k per day mark is about perfect. Worst case I have an extra day, maybe 2 of food before I have to go back to truck to re stock. This is a solid list though if it's under 2lbs, especially if you don't need any water!

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  Před 2 lety +1

      Solid video idea, especially considering the duration and weight restrictions that this hunt entailed. If you haven't already, check out the "Gear List" videos on our channel from past backcountry/extended hunts, as the clothing lists will likely be similar to what was packed out on this caribou hunt. Hope that helps and please reach out if you have any additional questions!
