Thanks Ryan. Exactly what I was looking for 👏
Great video just picked up the IA 8k last November. Thanks
Thanks Ryan for the run through on your pack loading. How much did your pack with 7 day food supply weight?
Thanks for video!
I always have my shelter on the top of my pack, so I don’t have to dump my bag to make camp. Good video💪
Nice!
Ryan Lampers is basically backcountry Jesus
I learned packing very heavy packs in 20 years of military service. I find it best to put most of the weight in the center of the pack closest to your back . Sounds just like the way Ryan does it 👊🏻
And the same way the girl at REI tells people how to pack a pack. Lmao it ain’t rocket science
@@thecoloradoalpine so you watch the girls on REI 🤔 guess that’s where you learned 😂
@@sheerwillsurvival2064 no, but I use the resources of videos to show kids in my outdoor education class. Since we only have 1-2 bags to pack on hand. Lmao
Thank you so much Ryan for sharing this great information on your pack
God's Blessings on your all your adventures Will your Daughters be hunting spring Bear with you?
Yes sir, that’s our plan. Can’t wait to get her out for bears!
Thanks for the pack up Ryan. What was that Ti stove you are running with the tipi?
Nate
This was a Seek Outside lg uturn
Ryan what is the contractor pad for that you placed in the bottom of the pack? Thank you for the break down really helps!
Heavy duty 55 gallon contractor garbage bag👍
Curious to what your full pack weighs
Thanks, Ryan. What would you say your average pack weight is there with no water or rifle?
10 day trips it’s 55-65, depending on season and if solo or split with partners
How do you pack your camera gear?
I put in all in Brian Call or Brad Hunts backpack😂
@@StHealthyHunter for sure that's the best way 😂
Why a tarp and a teepee?
So that they can sell both products. Joke aside, I always carry a tarp on me in case I need to spend the night away from cap.
Often we set the tipi as base camp and hunt away from it to a vantage point. It’s nice having a lightweight tarp for weather
U sponsored by stone glacier or are you sponsored by stone glacier? Hard to tell
I don’t get one penny from Stone G. I do wear their clothes because I love em. I’m wearing a duckworth hoody and I run an Initial Ascent backpack if you didn’t notice.
Don't be an ass. He's sponsored by hard work, experience and determination.
Should have weighed it
If you have to watch this video stay in front of the sink doing dishes.
Literally the same basic concept for anytime of backpacking or thru-hiking. Pretty basic knowledge
Agreed
Unfortunately common sense aint so common
