    Totally nailed it! This past season, I redid my med kit and started carrying a backup release, tarp, and micro spikes. I dropped my favorite release during an antelope stalk. It was a thumb release and my backups were hinge and index releases. Neither draws and anchors like the thumb, so when I bought a new release and determined it was the right one, I immediately bought another of the same! I can lose the original and the backup is setup identical, so I don't miss a beat.

      @bowhunter4954 he’s been hunting and guiding a lot of years and has hunted as a young man . Just because he shows gear doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a lot of knowledge. Everyone has to pay the bills and help out friends. Play nice

    Those microspikes are money even just in snow on flat. You slip far less each step, and it adds up.

    What CBD do you recommend for the daily as well as the sleep aid?

      I use full spectrum CBD. So many companies to choose from. I use our own brand from StHealthy nutrition. 50mg per day generally

      😂😂😂😂😂 these guys pack in 60-70lbs of gear (depending on how long the trip is) and then they pack out that along with meat.

      @@Terpedup925 my packs for a week long trip with food and water included are usually in the 65 to 80lbs range during gun season. And i dont bring hardly any of the stuff on his list, although i will add a rangefinder battery. I cant imagine adding anymore weight. They are good ideas though

      He did say he recommends "if" your going on a certain type trip.
      Consider his recommendations, pick the ones that suit you & your trip. Leave the rest.
      Sheeesh.. use your noggins, guys.
