Hey guys, nice video. I'm just getting into baiting bear this year in Alberta and was wondering what kind of signs and how many you need posted. Also how early you can set out your bait before season. Would really appreciate the help. Thanks

I'm from Manitoba so our regs would be similar. All info would be in your hunting guide I'm sure. We are allowed to start baiting 14 days b4 season opener with markings on a barrel for signage. Good luck !!! I believe your season is already underway.

Do you have the chains long enough that the bears can roll the barrels around to get food out of the holes?

The chains are long enough for the bears to roll them around but not pull them behind the trees.

At 8:40 of this video...on crown land which I assume you are on why are you putting out a number for fish and game? This is unnecessary
