I was last in Patong in September of 1988. A week long visit after a very long and arduous deployment to the Persian Gulf (US Navy). Seemed like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Virtually no one there and just a few open air bars around but plenty of beautiful women. With $20 a sailor could get drunk, laid, fed, and a place to sleep. Thought I had found paradise😂

Great footage 112 just love strolling along patong beach in that soft white sand how I miss it 😂, I prefer Molly's Tavern up the other end good resident band most nights, and do a marvelous English breakfast.

Just got back from Pattaya and you're right it's a completely different vibe to Phuket. Phuket is a island resort and Pattaya is all about Girls Girls Girls.
Best beach in the world is Cayo Coco Cuba.
4:53 Kamala, Surin, Karon, Kata, Kata Noi, Nai Hairn beaches are even cleaner but u never go there.
