To put the bottle of beer in context, I used to own a beer bar in Patong in 1990, we sold Singha for 40 bhat, so a 110 bhat increase in 34 years, so in my eyes, 150 bhat is still a good deal for Patong.

Last time I was there they had banned the beach beds. They all seem to be back now.

If you like white sand beaches I recommend Clearwater Beach, Florida. Beaches there are beautiful.
Yes, Sewage treatment goes a long way, What a concept to Thailand......
Lots of very clean and empty beaches in the north of Phuket like Bangtao, Layan, Nai Yang, Naithon, and Mai Khao Beach which 90% of tourists will never see.
If I ever get a chance to visit Thailand I will definitely look up those beaches. Thanks

last time I was in Patong a clothing vendor tried to spit at me because I didn't want to buy his clothing lol

that´s the price on the waterfront... if you walk to the next 7/11 you get one for 40 baht

Just been to 7/11 and got a can of Chang for 39Baht. Bar I just left, Chang was 90Baht. So yes, Thailand can still be cheap
