A day in Saigon, Vietnam. This video was filmed in the tourist area of the city where I changed hotels, ate some local food, explored Saigon Japan town and then went for a coffee next to an intersection with crazy traffic.

I'm not long back from Saigon, great city. mate have you heard of a place called Pasteur Street Brewery? quirky little bar and they make their own beers, they have one called God Water, check it out. one of the nicest beers I've ever had.

Great stuff mate. I stayed at that Gia Vien Hotel that you recommended. While the location is fantastic it can get quite noisy until the early hours of the morning. There's a hot Vietnamese lady who owns the Banh Mi cafe on the corner. It's a great little side street with lot's of drinking and dining options.
I usually stay in the windowless rooms to avoid the noise :)
@@bkk1126That’s a good idea. I’ll try that out next time. it was my first time in Vietnam and I was really impressed so I’ll be back in may for my 2nd visit. Cheap beer and great food and a lot cheaper than Thailand 🇹🇭
Viet Nam is becoming more and more popular with western as well as Asian tourist. Thailand continues to hamper its tourism sector with asinine policies (extending visas for Russian, Indians and anyone but Americans or European) . Furthermore, the prices are much cheaper in VN than Thailand for hotels, food, entertainment, etc.
Thailand is in dire straits. The Chinese have not come back since the pandemic. China accounted for %40 of Thai tourism industry, Big loss for Thailand.
I personnaly found Vietnam boring and annoying. This was some years ago though. And for the love of god stay away from Nah Trang.
why should thailand extend visas for countries like America when it makes it impossible for Thai people to visit? Ever heard of Reciprocity?
Thai can come to New Zealand, Work, own land, get pension , become citizen enjoy medical benefits, No reciprocity kiwi,s . Not about the people / govt policy@@johnc1873

Yes the Etihad flight ✈️ was a return to the UK and then back to Bangkok. I didn’t film the return leg of the journey
