- My thoughts on the Pilot Signature nib. I also compare this nib to the B, M and F nibs in my other Custom 823 fountain pens. The Sig nib is a mix of a Broad and a Stub nib. Very interesting nib with a fairly thick line weight. It is very wet.

Nearly spat my coffee all over the TV when you mentioned the drool. 😂
Thanks for the comparison. Been thinking of getting a few more 823s, with various nibs, for sketching.
Hi, Ash. The Sig is an excellent pen for art. That will be my primary use for it.
My pets don’t respect my authority. I guess I should feel lucky that only two sheets were eaten.
Well we know that Midori paper is 🐶 approved 😊 Thanks for the show n tell. I did prefer the feedback sound on the F and M nibs as opposed to the larger ones. 💜
Hi, Rob. The fine and medium are by far my favorites for writing. The broad and sig are great for drawing and coloring.
I’m so glad to see this I clicked so fast! Idon’t remember what the signature nib was like and I’m thinking the 823 sig nib is my next pen so this comparison is super helpful. Thanks, Terry!
Hi. Anita. It’s a perfect mix of a stub and a broad. Super smooth and very wet. Happy to help. Look forward to your review when you get yours.
