It's an F9 because they have the extra grille just ahead of the front porthole which on your loco is right above #9162. I like your LED shows. I like the way you think things through.

Ever thought about some "Kato" locos? Atlas yellow box made in japan are pretty good priced ones, smoother running than blue box

At the moment I'm just buying old DC stuff till I know what I like to play with, both on the track, and the work bench. So far I'm loving how easy Athearn is to work on, and runs pretty good.

Dave, nice work. Did you think of wiring the rear leds in reverse so when you run in reverse the led turns on.
