Great install. When my car bounces around the dome quits working on my Rolla. I removed the cover and it’s better. A weird phenomenon I am still investigating.

Probably check one of the door switches it's possible the driver's door in the front has a bad switch since that's the one that gets used the most. It's usually easy to check and to replace. It's held by a Phillip screw usually. That could cause the light to come on and off unless there is a loose contact in the dome light assembly.

On switch location?

On this particular model it is located on the driver's side panel where the dimmer switch is for the instrument panel/dash. Some Corolla models may vary as to where the switch is located it's not the same for all of the models.
