- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are fresh and re created. No retakes. One stretch live performance.

Very Nicely sung by Shaswathi & Narayanan. Shaswathi's Sweet Voice, her marked Sangathis and Narayanan's Expressive singing were too good. So too, the entire orchestration. Choice of Very Nice Locations by both the Singers in sync with the lyrics.

Narayanan starts at 5.16 and bowls you over - can be described only as "controlled aggression" :-) . brings out his inner Tiruchy Loganathan beautifully!! can't stop listening to this.

I heard this song for the first time when I was about ten or eleven years old at our family deity's temple where we had gone with family. The mike set people who were engaged for the occasion put on this song and 'VAARAI NEE VAARAI' from the same film, 'MANTHIRI KUMARI'. My father, quite a singer himself, narrated to me the story of the film. This is one of the several songs to which I fell unreservedly. Since then I used to listen to this song along with the other one whenever I feel like it which is not infrequent.

One of the best performances in QFR. Narayanan and Sashwathi - Lovely pair. Both did great justice to the original singers. Pleasant subdued violin and soothing tabla ... Shashwathi excelled in her diction during the lines 'குதர்க்கம் பேசி என்னை மயக்க எங்கு கற்றீரோ..' ... Too good.
