As an actual owner of this.
Who is currently using this as a CCW.
Everything he said is spot on in my experience as well.
I bought some handle it grips and I really don’t have any gripes left other than co witnessing with a red-dot.
Which I haven’t added yet
Had a friend get one of these, compared it to the Arex M. They're remarkably similar, but different in subtle ways; to the point where I would suggest that anyone who is considering this OR the Arex to use both to see which they prefer. It's not just the grip texture that's different.
Great set of features for an introductory pistol. Rost Martin comes out swinging. I'm glad to see it.
Ain't gonna lie. That dad joke had me chuckling for a moment. 😊
Thanks for reviewing this gun. As much as I enjoy the reviews of pricey guns, it’s nice to have a solid review as a reference for affordable gun shopping.
I love the full ambi controls. We lefties have been left out in the cold since Walther stopped making the PPQ M1.
I have 2 Arex Deltas (X and L), and why Rost Martin decided to delete the texture high up on the sides of the gun just makes no sense. I think it's one reason why I don't jive with my APX A1 so much. Theres almost nothing there! PDP, Echelon, Delta Gen 2...they're done right. No need for any more grip, they rip right out of the box. I do like the slide design on the RM1C, but other than that, my Delta's cover that niche, and the large grip makes it so my pinky isn't hanging off, which I hate. Hope they sell a lot though! More the merrier!
No interest in this gun but I really was looking forward to your opinion on the Swampfox Justice 2 ! Not alot of reviews on it yet
I agree let's see that Justice II review!
Not sure the difference, but I have a Gen 1 Justice on my Beretta 92G and it works great. Have had no issues after 650 rounds or so.
@@wheelguns4wheelmen802larger window more SRO style and comes in multi reticle and 6 moa variants. I sold my Justice 1 because the 3moa is too smqll to track at speed for me
I have a J2 and I love it
Good stuff, as always. 👍🏻
The RM1C and Arex Delta have interchangeable FCU'S and Slides, The 17 round Mag is also the same.
Keep up the good work
That optic is gigantor lmao
0:40 😅🤣😂 Great Response Ability 😆😅🤣😂 Lmao!
Bought one yesterday. Shot pretty good with.
Man! For the price. Sweet pistol
This is the second review on this that I've seen... I like it especially for the price! I've always wondered why manufacturers don't put grip where you need it. As someone else mentioned, the Hellcat and Echelon were actually designed with texture in the right spots. I'm still considering the Echelon above other pistols as a duty gun with the optics mounting system and the thumb ledges. Awesome review!
I have the gun and really like it but I choose my Xmacro Tacops over it
My Xmacro is my go to over many good options.
I agree with the smooth part. I also hate that theres a dumb law or something that makes it so there needs to be a groove there. The good thing about the smooth part is you can put skate tape there easily. Been thinking about putting some epoxy putty on the grove to flatten it out before tape so my palm doesnt have so sink in so far.
I appreciate that it’s made in Texas and is still affordable. Also, as a lefty, I really appreciate the ambi controls. That’s not too common in smaller pistols it seems.
It's an American Arex Delta. You can take the chassis out and put it into the Arex Grip Module. It will use the Delta mags and CZ P10 series mags as well. RM mentioned that they worked very closely with Arex on the design and sourced parts from them. With that DNA, I would be shocked if it was a bad piece. I have one on the way in grey, because why not.
I enjoy my delta m Gen 2.
Uses CZ P10C mags.
And buy some traction tape .. if your its personal preference ..
Gotta luv Texas! What's your opinion on the best RMR green dot sight, budget & expensive for EDC?
best is probably Holosun EPS carry or full size depending on gun. Budget version - Cycle has some green dot sights - Cat Pro, Wolf Pro
@@TheHumbleMarksman copy that thanks 😊
Pretty cheap. Great for people looking to get in the game on a budget. Personally I recommend saving a bit more and not cutting costs on something you want to defend your life with. But I’m not naive and I know there’s a market for it. Not a bad looking piece. Hopefully it does well for the people who purchase one.👍 Appreciate the video.
Regarding your gripe with grip texture. Try the Grit Grips G19 frame with any gen 3 upper.
Got the Stoeger STR-9. Only brand ever that the backstrap irritated my hand. Getting grips as soon as they become available.
The actor from the Old Wild Wild West show designed a gun?
Uh... Not a word about the pic rail or any iron sight compatibility... Jus' wonderin'...?
How does it compare with the Beretta APX A-1?
So, if one practices weekly with their carry gun 100 rds or factory range ammo, at what round count should would one expect failures/expect to do repairs.
Recoil springs probably need to be replaced at 3k or 5k
🇺🇸
How do you like the Swampfox Justice II optic?
A lot of
Does the optic plate for this gun also fit on the Arex?
No idea - I am pretty lazy so didn’t check
How did you like the Justice 2?
A lot
How are you liking the justice 2 6moa?
Love it
@@TheHumbleMarksman Hell yeah! I'm glad because Swampfox answered my call for the 6moa dot in a large window! It's between the justice 2 and mecanik mo3 6moa I have to make a decision soon
@@hopewilliams6705 im a canik fan but the Justice seems better quality 7075 alluminum vs the M03 6067 . also click turret adjustments intead of those allen key ones and the hood looks thicker as well and Ive seen the Justice 2 going sub $200
@@redeye8526 I have an original justice ⚖️ for years and it's been very reliable and a sentinel a I believe your right! Better go with a know quantity

@@TheHumbleMarksman thank you good sir. Happy Sunday, God bless.
You released this a week after I looked at one lol
On the comment made about the side stippling of the pistol grip, wouldn't it be excluding left handed shooters? Since the rough part will rub against the body when concealed as someone who carries it on the left side and then provide no grip for the "support hand" (being the "right hand" for the left-handed shooter). It makes sense what you say but it excludes a minority of the community
no - the texture should be on both sides as the gun should be able to be shot just as well with either hand. Most holsters have a sweat guard that covers most of that area or puts it far enough away that it's only the bottom of the grip that rubs - the top part is pretty much "free" as it doesn't contact with most holsters.
@@TheHumbleMarksman Ah I see. I misunderstood what you said about how manufacturers should stipple or texturize their grips. It makes much more sense now and will be symmetrical on both sides so it wouldn’t discriminate left hand shooters
I came for the reviews but stayed for the dad jokes
.04 and I see an issue already!! The trigger safety (dingus) is stuck!!
It does that when the trigger is pulled - it’s like a Glock
@@TheHumbleMarksman and yet there is nothing depressing the trigger in the video. Is that what a Glock does 😏.
@@johnthomas460if the striker is released that’s exactly what a Glock does - just like you are seeing here…
@@johnthomas460look at 1:30. The striker is cocked and the safety sticks out
I still think of it as the "Russ Martin" pistol. IYKYK.......
I hate do you think about that optic?
Love it
felt really light and similar to the Ruger security version. And for the price there are better options
Looks like half p365 half sd9ve
Huh. Interesting. Won't buy one though
Also ambi mag releases are dumb. I do not shoot left handed so i dont need it to be released left handed. Just make it swappable like everyone else.
👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸💯💯🔫🔫☕️☕️
Made in Texas is all i need to know. To NEVER buy it. You know what they say, there are only steers and +
So never buy Rost Martin, Staccato, SV Infinity, Shadow Systems...
Troll alert
You are probably a closeted alphabet person.
@@TheHumbleMarksman yes
Another Glock copy. Who is their market, the uninformed?
It’s an Arex Delta copy, not a Glock copy.
Not a Glock copy - can confirm
Kinda looks like a sig

"ABSOLUTELY!" he exclaimed.....
...just 1 question though.....how did you know my name was Phones?
Wonder how this compares to an arex
Very similarly
