You are absolutely supposed to kill the red reaper in vampire survivors. You get a character out of it, and it’s pretty much the main use for weapons like infinite corridor
Yup, and the white reaper only spawns if you use those two weapons, so to get the character you had to find other ways. Been a while since I’ve played so I have no clue if you can get the character with those weapons or not though

@@katgrogan5288I have killed the red reaper without those 2 weapons before, I can't remember the build but I was in Lake Foscari with Queen Sigma, I think the I-frames from Sole Solution were enough to keep me alive

well, it was originally meant to be unbeatable, but when people started finding ways to beat it, the devs added reasons to do so
similarly to the Dungeon Guardian in Terraria, rather than continue buffing it, they reward people for managing the assumed impossible task
The first one for Doom, the exit is programmed as a "death exit," so it triggers when you get to
Actually, it triggers when you reach a health value below 20%. It is the only exit that can be activated while the ghost glitch is active, as well.

One of the things I hate from boss fights like these is when you sometimes defeat them easily in the gameplay, they'll then proceed to absolutely destroy you in the cutscene. So boss fights like Sam first fight in MGR is appreciated because you'll know that you're going to lose there anyway.
Either that or make it like fighting against the final boss for the first time in Devil May Cry V where you're supposed to lose but if you're skilled enough you can actually defeat him and get a unique ending.
or its like sekiro where you beat genichiro on your very first encounter even though you have to nearly flawless him to do so and when he does some arrow or something comes from egypt and you still lose your arm
@@momoavatar4960nah a shuriken gets thrown by one of those nightjar assassin guys which distracts Sekiro and makes him lose his arm, you can see them in the cutscene afterwards

Alduin can't be killed because he's marked as "essential", much like the other NPC we see crawling on the ground. They can only be temporarily knocked out. I believe you can change this status with the console as well
Kill doesn’t work, use disable
That's the point of removing the essential status. Any NPC flagged with essential will be unkillable and will stagger on the ground. Removing this will allow them to die permanently.
The only exception to this rule is children.

I’d just like to say, it’s crazy how slow the blade mode boxes were moving in the Armstrong fight, looked unreal lmfao
he was playing on easy or normal i assume. the boxes move faster the higher your difficulty is, so in revengeance difficulty you have like half a second to line up and destroy the projectile
Dude, I spent like 3 hours or more on the Armstrong fight because of that. Like I never learned how to properly cut in blade mode, I was one of the people who just ran to the back of sundowner and killed him that way

Fun fact: the zurgs from stray are actually killable before you get the UV light because if you get into a barrel and get the AI of the zurgs to be in front or behind you while inside the barrel, you can actually squish them and kill them

Whole new way of seeing it when one hit kill doesn't kill Senator Armstrong and Raiden asking him why won't he die
You showed off the fact that the crewmates in Halo CE are protected and how to glitch so the marines don’t show up, but you never showed the unkillable marines being killed, or what happens if you survive against them.
They just spawn indefinitely?
In Dead Space 2 there is a Boss where you are meant to run from it and then get attacked by a Gunship in which the same Boss will attack and dragged you towards the ship and grabs you and you have to shoot red barrels in order to kill it since before you are supposed to hit yellow weak spots on the creature and during the chase the creature is invicible due to no weak spots
Also in Dead Space 3 there is a section where you are meant to survive and wait for a tram to arrive while you are against a Necromorph called "Regenerator" in which he can't die, normally in the Dead Space games you have to shoot their limbs to kill Necromorphs, but since he can regenerate any missing limbs, he won't die even if you cut off all his limbs

What happens if you defeat a video game boss where if you're about to defeat it, it'll go straight to the point where the game does a scripted loss on you
there are probably 2 things that can happen
1 is what you saw in metal gear Rising.
2 is boss dies and game softlocks.

what I'm talking about is killing the boss but theres only one storyline/cutscene for after the battle that just plays when it ends

In Yu-gi-oh Forbidden Memories you are supposed to lose a fight against Heishin near the beginning of the game. If you win, you still get a card, but then you are forced to fight him again.
And what if you win again? Do you get another card? Are you forced to fight him again after that? Can you just keep bullying him?

It's ridiculously difficult to actually beat him though considering the stat lines of some of his monsters, so at best, you'll probably win 2 or 3 times.
You aren't gonna be able to farm him unless RNJesus himself descends to give you oral
@@QuickSilverKitsuneOr, you can use Codebreaker/Gameshark codes to unlock all cards in the game. Then use x3 Blue-eyes Ultimate Dragon, Gate Guardian, Meteor B. Dragon, etc. You can win as many times as you like, but the game only advances when *you* lose.
Alternatively, you can use a "reduce opponent's LP to zero button combination" cheat. Heishin will lose every time, but again, the game only advances when *you* lose.
I would know, I did both. It was a fun experiment!

Are you really supposed to lose to the titan Pokémon? I’m not sure I ever did.
I don't think you ever lose to it, but at scripted hp gates it runs from you. If you manage to straight up knock it out, it faints and skips the running event.
In vampire survivors, prior to the introduction of said weapons to kill the reaper, there was a pretty consistent strategy to kill it where you hid behind a table and a stuck projectile, keeping you from getting xp until the 30 minute mark (reaper and some enemies scale with your level)
This was pretty much the only way to get the secret character for beating one at the time

In halo reach, on lone wolf if you go out of bounds and kill a certain elite, then go back in bounds and kill a few enemies, you can survive infinitely. At least on disc, 😅 i found it by trying to survive as long as possible and gave in out of boredom about 2 hours in
What if you killed Armstrong with fists? Like, there's an attack that knocks Murasama out of your hands. So, what would happen if you try to kill him without Murasama?
I tried that myself, he does an unblockable attack that forces a QTE and you get the blade back at 10% health

Since you included Vampire Survivors, you could also include Holocure, and an old strat called "inalock", which let you keep going indefinitely (at least until you run out of RAM)

@@TheAlienPoison No. There's technically two games before 3. Final DOOM, which was DOOM one and two, Two of the most popular WADs at the time and one last game that's canonical. And the second is DOOM 64, only on the N64 and the one where the Doomguy got stuck in hell after destroying the Mother Demon. I believe Three is a retelling of one or an AU of One.

The first video game I ever played was an old game boy color game called Magi Nation. You encounter the final boss shortly into the story and he's meant to kick your ass, but if you do new game + he actually has a finite hp value and you can take him down, it takes hours and the game still continues like you lost, but he's at least a fantastic source xp at high levels

Funny thing about Pokemon SV, you don't need one shot hack, just be horribly overleveled vs titan who's level, like all other major plot points in the game, is set in stone and will never change. I did this and one-shot the first stage of false dragon titan with Sawsbuck

Just a tip: for Vampire Survivors, you should have covered an older patch. Nowadays you are supposed to kill the Red Reaper, but back then you weren't. However, players had found a way to kill it anyway, overlooked by the developer and managed to do it. Surprisingly, it was already coded in that you would unlock the character "Mask of the Red Death" by killing the Reaper, essentially giving you a reward for something you shouldn't be able to do. The developer is amazing!
Sen. Armstrong's is simple, and in the cutscene he says it himself. XD
There was one time in Mgr where i had a glitch in the part where you fight Armstrong on top of the metal gear, instead of putting my health at .1 percent he would straight up kill me, and the quick time event wouldnt trigger either, so i was stuck in an endless loop where i fought him with my bare hands till he killed me. I sometimes got his health pretty low tho.

you can also use status conditions on titan Pokémon even on the first phase of the battle and yes they will faint but the game won’t break
Pretty sure the cuccos have the same effect when thrown into water… they disappear rather than resurface, and immediately respawn as soon as you aren’t looking at their spawn point.

In punch club 2 there is an enemy in the late game who is the shopkeepers brother. He will throw you out of the store as he is insanely strong. Nearly tripple your power at that point. What if you beat him though?
In witcher 1 when fighting Azar Javed for the last time the witcher Berengar might help you with the fight (i guess depending on past choices), and although his death is scripted with most of Javed's attacks being able to kill him in one hit, he can absolutely survive with no mods. I found out the charged attack of the witcher style combo can one shot Javed. Unfortunately at the end you just cannot even interact with Berengar(as he is not meant to be alive)
