Hmm interesting - does it look like emerald? I would suggest a set of epoxy resin dyes. I know the Let's Resin ones that I use a lot include a bunch of green shades, including emerald. the more colour you add the more intense it gets, though careful not to go too far as you might inhibit the resin curing. Best is to add a couple of drops - stir, add a couple more and so on and the second you get the shade you want, stop adding. If you want to take a look at the resin pigment dyes on the Let's Resin website, there's a bunch of discount codes you can use too, they are in the description of my videos. there's one for several countries.

Yeh sorry I messed up the time. it was meant to be tonight's premiere but it had defaulted to midnight grrrr
I love the shape of the pot and the colours work very well together. I'm still on the fence when it comes to terrazzo, it reminds me a bit too much of the hideous paints that were everywhere in the 90s and 00s.
I know that you mean Mizz, that might be part of the reason I'd not tried it before. Kinda why I wanted to do it a little differently, with the other colours and the slanting pattern, maybe give it a new twist.
It's fabulous. I'm definitely going to have a go.

Beautiful pot. Love the shape and colours. I know terrazzo isn’t for everyone but I absolutely love it - something about the randomness and how just changing the size of the pieces completely alters the overall look. I think of the sanding as ‘unveiling’ a unique creation - which helps get my head around the tedium 😂. Thank you for the video 😊

Well... you changed my mind on terrazzo. I wasn't a big fan tbh, interesting effects but the projects I've seen didn't interest me style wise. But this? Love how your pot turned out, excellent work!

I did exactly this today, I made terrazzo pieces in 3 different colours, also had the problem of one of the rings from the pigment bottle falling into the mixture 😂. I used ResinCrete and have got to stage where I don't bother weighing anything now as you can judge by the consistency the more you use it. Like you, I tried to do a pot by tipping over the pot, putting in one colour then repeating it for the other side but it turned out horrible and the rim came apart from the rest of the lid as I had made the rim a different colour and let it set before adding the other colour so I gave up. The pot was done last week so I attacked it today with a hammer trying to smash it up to at least get some use from it by using the pieces. It was going everywhere as the bag i had put it in kept splitting so will need to think how else to do it as the pieces are still a bit big. Hopefully i'll have more luck using all the terrazzo pieces I will have 😂. I wonder what it will look like in epoxy 🤔. Yours turned out great, the sanding makes such a difference
Great way to save pieces you're not happy with to use in other things. Yep it'll look good in resin - very different to in more eco casting powder of course, but a funky effect all of it's own
