Tracey the Hulk 😆😆😆
That's stunning, like Kintsugi
Thsnks
Has anyone called you Mini 😂? That tray is lovely. Gorgeous choice of colours. Didn’t know you could get that dark green with Eco. Impressive.
Yeh I get called Mini all the time lol. Glad you like this one. With the right type of pigment you can actually get a bit darker than that too
Beautiful tray, reminds me of a Google earth view. Very tropical ❤❤
Thank you so much 😀
😂 Still laughing at, "Stop me before i split my trousers". 😅
Oh Tracy...you do make me giggle!!
I LOVE your experiments!!
Glad you like them! Thanks Angel x
Wow, I love how your tray turned out! So happy the UV worked with the ECO pour. 😍
Glad you like it
Beautiful tray and gorgeous color combination, Ms Tracey 😍 💜.Love how the jasmonite and uv resin 😍 bond beautifully together .Sending you Diwali wishes ✨️ 🙏, Ms Tracey 💜 ✨️
Thank you! You too!
Fantastic experiment with UV RESIN & ECOPOUR great outcome. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
Thanks so much 😊
I made sure to turn my notification on for this, see you tomorrow 😊
You're the best!
Beautiful tray Tracey, love this technique too 😊
Thanks so much 😊
So beautiful Tracey. ❤❤❤
Thank you
This is such a beautiful, organic looking tray!
Thanks. I'm glad you like it. that half-a-plan I tend to start with did kinda morph as I went along
What, tea, not wine. Cool looking tray. Looked fun. 😊
Next time! Lol I opened wine after haha
My notification didn't pop up! Grrr 😡 that tray is great 😊
Aww Marcy :) Hugs and cua next time
A good idea, like that, I would have used a dry bristle paint brush to remove the glitter. I discovered that from wiping up stubborn cat hair, wet cloth alone is no good either start with dry or if wet is used go over with dry 😂 I think I'm a tad finicky.
That's a great idea!
Wow this sounds so interesting, we have never seen this done before 🤗
really? I hope you enjoy the experiment, it's a fun one J4U, feel free to join us in live chat - there may be questions for you as well as me
@@miniscenesgb definitely! We are hoping to join, we are out in the day but hoping to be back in time x
Thanks Tracey, very useful to know for certain that uv resin is bondible with this resin. I've also been wondering what the viscosity of Apex uv is like. I use uv resin in my jewellery making and I have been doing so testing of different brands. So thanks for mentioning that.
Its useful to know things you can make quickly re. present making. I promised hubby in July to make all my presents I'm giving this year. I'm a bit behind trying to run all alongside making n selling as I was really poorly for all last month after being mistakenly overdosed on a medication in my Nomad.
Still not quite there but doing my best.
This was so useful as well as enjoyable. ❤❤
Get well soon, and good luck with the gift making :)
This is gorgeous! I really like the look of this product!
Thank you so much!
Hi Tracey beautiful tray 😍, i have got the bloom seal on way too 😀, thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
it's good stuff. People keep saying just use Mod Podge or PVA, they may work but this stuff is so easy to use. I'm testing it out further for another video - which I'll finish once my space is sorted lol. Let me know what you think of it
Love it, Tracey.
Thanks Diana
Sorry I’ve misplaced the chat. Thank you so much for the beautiful tray Tracey, I’ll let you know when I’ve tried the modeling paste.
Please do, there's so many sorts of moulding paste so keep us posted.
I love how this looks. It's so beautiful. The uv resin "river" is fantastic. It is so cohesive and makes me feel like I'm rubber tubing down a small river that has several branches.❤❤❤ Thank you Tracey for the inspiration.
Thank you so much!
Looks great Tracey. Sorry I missed the premier yesterday.
No worries Deana, we missed you :) Cya next time
Very pretty😊
Thank you! 😊
Lit kinda looks like Kintsugi. Cool!
Kinda does 😊
Love it
Thanks
Beautiful!
Thank you :)
Fantastic result and great chat. Thank you 😀❤️🤗
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much for joining us in chat Mole
Brilliant as usual Tracey ❤❤
Thanks Coyo, thanks for your support as always
Great idea 🎉🎉
Thank you! 😊
Thank you Tracey for sharing, helping and inspiring ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching! And for joining us in live chat
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
Another beautiful creation, love the colours and the uv and glitter is very special. Love it 😍
Thanks so much 😊
I love your channel!❤
I'm so glad! Thank you
The tray looks lovely and you’ve sparked my creativity. Two quick thoughts which you gave me: could the glitter be mixed into the UV resin and applied out of a needle tipped bottle to keep it in place and could the sealer also be used to make air dry clay waterproof? I may have to try some experiments of my own 🙂
Yes if I’d wanted glitter all through rather than on the back that would work. That sealer, It might work on air dry clay too
Nice
OK Video soon :)
I occasionally use the hudroflow sealer from elichem (aquacast) it needs several voats to be completely waterproof but application wise I find it better with a sponge no strokes from the brushes. It comes in a spray bottle but it doesn't spray very well, unless the one I had was not working as it should. But I still find a sponge a better applicator for that liquid one.
As for complete waterproofing I use a builders waterproofing compound. And so far I have not had any problems with aquacast items outside using that to seal them x
I Use Eco Pour exclusively nowadays, and the sealant wax or liquid sealant from Boowan Nicole. they seem the easiest to use
@miniscenesgb I know. But I suspect most the sealers are similar. But unique to each company. I tried the hydroflow sealer first, I not tried any other waterproofing ones. Wax from homeware designs. And the waterproofing compound. Might try others when I've finished what I got
I like the liquid sealers from Boowan Nicole and Create and Bloom, and the wax from Boowan nicole. They aren't all the same really, I find some way easier to work with. I do like the Homeware Designs products and their wax is great, but the Boowan Nicole one is a lot easier to use as it's a lot softer. Definitely worth trying them all to see which is your personal preference
See you tomorrow. 🌹
Cya there :)
I like how these products work together. I've been hesitant to try one of the eco products but will look into what's available here in the US now. On another note I left a picture of my feather tray in your FB page for you to see.
I love what you make Tracy you did a great job. With the glitter have you tried tape to remove the extra o the mold that you don’t want?
Yep - but I was happy to have a little scatter left this time :)
Could always add glitter to the UV resin and do it the way you want it.
Yes, that works perfectly but that wasn't what I was testing in this video. I didn't want just a glitter line :)
Hi very nice make I've never tried the powder it looks easy to use but is it really 😊
It really is! seriously, I can't do with measuring and stuff - this stuff is so forgiving.
Beautiful tray. Can you use dried flowers with eco pour? I mean placing them on the mold first then pouring?
Yes you can - sort of! They won't stick to it - Eco Pour isn't sticky. So you would need o coat with something to seal them in. Personally I would just make my Eco Pour piece, let it dry thoroughly, lay the dried flowers onto it with glue - then top coat once dry. This is a really good question, I'll add it to my list of video demos to make if I may
Pva glue just as good, just water it down a touch 😊
Yes I've used that, and Mod Podge :)
Has anyone got a strength comparison with Ecopour please? I used resin crete on a thin piece and proceeded to drop it straight from demold 🤦🏻♀️ and it shattered. I think it was too fine as i remade then purposefully snapped to check strength. Is Ecopour more robust or am i being unrealistic using it in a mould with thin sections?
I love the mix Tracey 🖤 i love white with oceananic colours. Giving me lots of ideas. Thank you
TY for watching. Yes, I tried both. Eco Pour is stronger - and whiter.
@@miniscenesgb thank you so much ❤️
For waterproofing, have you tried polyurethane or shellac? Or Rustoleum makes an acrylic spray on finish. Then there are clear coats you can find at the auto parts store in the automotive paint section.
This experiment has opened the door to all sorts of new possibilities..
Yes, tried all sorts. Wanted to demo a brand new product here though
Is Eco pour the same as ResinCrete?? Love watching your videos ❤❤❤❤
Similar to mix but whiter. I only use Eco Pour now as I like how reliable and how very white it is - and I like the supplier's business model and customer service too
