Division 2 ANOTHER SECRET HUNTER FOUND + Secret Room in Safehouse- I feel these hunters are now just spawning anywhere and now just give you random high end pieces of gear. No hidden masks in which I am very disappointed about, as I have not seen anyone find these 2 hunters I have found on youtube or posted anywhere. So for the people that now get this there should be some sort of reward for hidden shit mayne - Hry

I love the fact that they don't just disappear after killing the 12 for the masks, keeps you on your toes. I'm sure they'll implement something more with them. The lore behind them is pretty cool not knowing exactly who they work for if anybody
I saw a CZcams video about a few possible theories about the hunters. One of the most convincing and the one that the youtuber believes it might be, is that the Hunters are actually the 3rd Wave.

It's a stalker Hunter. You can kill them but no mask or key but will drop an item when you drop them. They will run and vanish if you get to close by looking at them or if you fire at them but rather miss the shot or didn't kill them with the first bullet. Great video and these Hunters are all over the map and can be seen at times during the day.

I agree, get that static feeling every so often but mostly closer to control points like they looking for fights from factions trying to retake them.
The box room near where you shot the hunter might be a room to enter. There's a crack along the door you can view through with the camera. There's a table with scopes on it as seen in safe rooms and (what looks like) a SHD box. Figured there wouldn't be a reason to decorate a room no one is supposed to enter. There *might* be something in there.
There’s plenty of them all over the map. They were placed in random locations just to be there.
When u playing and ur UI Starts so glitch u can be Sure theres one of them lurkin at you... it happend very often to me
I found one on the northern edge of the map two blocks above the campus on a roof top with a fallen crane crashed into the corner.
No your right i came across this one as well during a bounty on the right of that building and my shit got all fuzzy and the lights turned orange inside the room i was in. Then once i was up stairs i heard him run and then disappear.

I was walking out of the area of the Viewpoint Museum mission at night. I see a guy crouching down off to the side of a bunch of True Sons walking through. I thought it was a True Son and I get closer and my screen gets static and the guy disappears. I didn't know what Hunters were since I only started playing when Warlords of New York came out. Are these encounters completely random like the Rogue Agents?
Those are the Stalkers, they dont seem to harm anyone but just run away, and yeah the encounters are completely random
I was on my vanity item run through west end, at night, when i hit the control point and static happened i stopped and look but didnt see anything.

Dustin Yambrisak he didn’t kill it.. he opened the chest next to himself and got that item he picked up..... I’ve kill all the hunters in game ... I had to hunt down two of them bkuz they would spawn where they were supposed to... I ran into the crimson mask hunter where you would find the two hunters near the monument ... it’s easier as a team especially for the three hunters near the Christmas tree...
i had a mysterious hunter show up during my fight with the final of my mask collections, he just absorbed damage like crazy and walked around like the fucking juggernaut. then when i got him to about half health he just disappeared. i wish i had been streaming because i'd have killed to get proof of this.

I have seen one when while doing the heroic bounty near the apartments during the day time. I wasnt sure what to think... now that Ive seen this, I start to believe some hunters are random spawn.
All hunters can be found in the open world, and if killed for the first time, will still drop their mask.
These are called Stalkers and unless I’m mistaken, this is what lead to people finding about the ARG which later allowed players to figure out the tricks to spawning legit Hunters.
Notice how this Stalker drops a gold piece. They don’t drop masks or keys because you didn’t do the puzzle.
I'm confused. Was maxed out in Div1. Hunters could be a pain. Just made Tier5 last night and it appears you have to look for them. They don't appear and brutally murder you? Am I missing something?
While farming Hyena keys in the FBI building a hunter spawned behind the chain fence where the cache is. He slowly walked to the fence, waved and ran. Not sure if killable as he was behind a fence in an area inaccessible. Stalker or hunter who knows.
when wt5 came out i beat ghost hunter and now there a other hunter that spawn at Washington tower and he left like wtf

There is a hunter in Navy Hill Control Point. He appears in front of the control point, on the roof of the building
The one with the red spray paint on the door? I found him a couple of weeks ago running up the street towards the control point. You could see him chilling on the roof.

This is a very stupid question but ever since I got my specialization I haven't figured out to switch to the specialization weapon can somebody tell me please?

There are stalker hunters like the one that was on top of the crane that was the ghost mask it wasn’t supposed to drop the mask but it did the devs said these were stalker hunter basically just for show
I think that maybe one of them gets somewhere close to toxic alley but i can not find him. Very smart to do this with the foto mode. I will try to find him tomorrow. I need desperate the 8 ivory key.
Just repress the button at the monument at night and then go outside and there will be a division circle.. stand in it and a hunter will appear. You won't get any mask but he should drop the key.. He runs but does't disappear. He will drop your ivory key and then you can get your crappy f2000 :)

There are hunter all over the map called watcher u can kill but only drop high end gear there is 10 total

I was was doing a control point at lvl 3 and it glitched out and we was run ing around trying to find the enemies and we got the static like a hunter was there but couldn't find it anywhere we where close to where u whwre kinda we where jm that district tho for sure
Navy yard control point. When you pop the flare a hunter comes out on the roof top of the west building. You can get a head shot on him if your behind the pillars to the east

Yeah if your fast enough and your explosive damage is high enough you can one shot them.

Just a stalker hunter. If it doesnt spawn and attack then theyre just stalkers. If you have all of the masks then the stalkers just drop gear.

Bro I think I found another hunter location it’s by The Attic safehouse and you have to go where to an alley when you jump over the fence and has a rope that allows you to go on the roof to claim a loot that gives you a camo but my map and all keeps making that weird twitching type, wonder if someone knows about it
When you take the control point by that spot, he may or may not appear on the roof where that spot is, but on the side facing the CP where you can't get to. Hopefully you saw him by now.

I did the one when 4 of them spawn but i only managed to kill 2 and now they never respawn..
Had the same problem, if you haven't already fixed the issue you can try again by matchmaking with other people who haven't done it. Also to make the fight easier, go to the White House and switch to one specialist then back to the other and completely refill all your special ammo to make the fight easier
I've only killed 2 hunters so far. But have been visited by a hunter 3 times in the sewers at night. The first two times while fighting mobs before I kill the last red the audio and visuals for a hunter happens. Only saw him spawn the first time and then walk away. The second time I didn't see him at all. The third time same audio and visuals happen. I don't see him so I run for cover as I am fighting yellows. As soon as I hit cover I look around and get one shotted to 1hp. But the kill credit goes to a mob. Thinking the hunter burst me and the mob got the last bullet in to kill me. Again I didn't see the hunter.

It's done been said that in the raid some guy has the hunters fight with us in the raid so we will be teaming up with them at some point for the raid

Dude this is called a stalker. They appear around the map, we aren’t meant to be able to kill them but the devs have said the coding was messed up. They’re meant to disappear once looked at. The only one that hasn’t been found is the ghost hunter (not the one that you one shot) he’s the last one to be found for the 8th key!

Brendan Bell because the ghost hunter you’ve killed isn’t meant to be able to be killed. He’s meant to vanish as soon as you look at him. The proper way to kill the ghost hasn’t been found yet and more importantly can’t be found. The devs have posted on reddit that it’s currently bugged and will be fixed when tidal basin is released. It’s impossible to get the 8th key right now unless you get lucky and the game glitches and gives you the 8th (like 1 guy has on CZcams)
Any hunter that needs to be 1 shot is the incorrect way of doing it!

(secret hunter/stalker) In the components resource node below the settlement, there's a Hunter/Stalker at night at the at the key cache. His behind a fence and has a ton of hp but he runs off after a sec or 2 shooting on him.. used the spec sniper with 3 hits and he did not die from it.. some 1 kill him and make a vid on it.
Must need to slow him down maybe foam gun
The 8th ivory key riddle has yet to be solved , the ghost hunter spawned in properly will have the 8th key , these r just stalker hunters all over the map
people have all 8 keys and have opened the chest already

this is the riddle that has everyone baffled and no one has solved yet , this is the cypher to getting the 8th key legit , there was a glitch which allowed player to enter another player world and earn another key that way but since has been patch

@@thevoiceofreason937 no one has successfully managed to figure out the cypher on spawning the ghost hunter in and fight him proper , he is the legit way to get the 8th key , the spectre hunter was solved not long ago and everyone managed to get the spectre mask and the 7th ivory key so people are trying to figure out how to get the 8th key through solving the unite riddle linked to the ghost hunter
Update of the 8th key devs have confirmed the 8th key is bugged and won't be fixed till 5th of April next week
most of us still have 6/8, even after killing all hunters

@evan should be 7/8 if you do the argarian cipher near the contaminated zone near DZ south. Where you shoot the bottom panes of the window. Hope this helps

If it was a new or Secret hunter? Why didn't it drop a mask and a ivory key? I think it's a hunter they already got and that's why a drop Armor and not a mask.
James Garcia These hunters spawn at multiple locations. I have seen them spawn more than 4 times. To differentiate them, the deciphers used the term lurkers, since they only sit on roof tops and if they notice you, they run away without engagement. The real ones do engage and there’s only 8 of them to my knowledge, hence 8 keys required to open the ivory chest.

The ivory camo is from supply boxes hangin onto parachutes.
Easier to get it from the parachute, also you dont need 8 keys to get "decent" loot.
I know this comments are a week ago but no, the Ivory Dye for armor is the only one you can get from supply drops, for the Ivory Weapon skin you need the 8 Ivory Keys.

Mathias Niemi Shieldsplinter isn’t even that great of a named weapon either to be honest. I love my F2000s but they’re not best AR in slot and the Shieldsplinter is no exception.

Same here. Managed to get all three masks too from the monument which allegedly you're not supposed to. So then I managed to spawn Ghost through the red ring outside and got a key which put me at 6. Not sure what the deal is, I wish they made it so the Hunters could reset and you could kill them again after 24hrs for chance at keys.

They're only 12 hunters that actually matter. They 12 that you spawn that and the 8 that drop the ivory keys. The one kettle is this video is a "Watcher". The D.C. is literally covered worth hundreds of these dudes. They literally don't do anything besides watch and observe. They don't fight back, they run.. You killed a harmless hunter.

The "Stalker-Hunters" are the Normal Hunters. It's not planned to kill them this way but when u see a "Stalker-Hunter" wearing the Crimson Mask for exanple and u kill the Stalker he should drop the Mask if u dont have it

"The hunters that are on buildings etc are not to be killed they are there to observe." You know what I'm saying?
